We've had a real nice stretch of weather. I'm not complaining.

Yesterday I thought we had the ants under control, but they seem to be making a comeback today.

It's a sunny/rainy day today.

I'm sorry about the ants, Chris.

I'm getting really frustrated with the ants!

Managed to make quite the mess this morning by spilling the coffee grounds. Not a great start to the day.

Coffee grounds are hard to clean up. I hope the ant and coffee situation improves soon, Chris.

I hope everyone has a great weekend.

I think the ants have finally got the message that they're not welcome in my house. thank goodness!

Do you have plans for the weekend? Nothing special going on here.

That's great, Chris.

I worked a lot at my allotment today. It was very warm.

Yes thanks, Chris. I am having a lazy day today. It's a rainy day today so I am staying and resting after my gardening yesterday.

How is your garden coming along? Are the critters leaving things alone?

Hubby turned our garden yesterday. Will probably just plant sunflowers. Maybe a tomato plant.

I bought a spray that is supposed to deter slugs and snails but doesn't hurt them or any other creatures. I hope that works. I managed to pick 2 ripe strawberries. There was slight slug damage but I cut a piece off and the strawberries were delicious.

The planting is coming along very nicely. I have a few more climbing structures and covers to set up for a few more plants.

I planted some sunflowers once but nothing happened.

Strawberries already?! Woah. I'll bet they were delicious. Did you eat them right there?

Got some groceries. Spent my loyalty points, which brought the bill down to a few dollars.

On the way home, a cat ran across the road in front of me carrying a small rabbit! I didn't need to see that.

I ate them after I got home. They were tasty.

I love loyalty points!

That's not a nice thing to see!
