We don't have a promo yet, but we do have a date, at least for Netflix. Let's discuss this upcoming season and what you want to happen and all that jazz. A few possible topics:

-What will happen with Hunter now that we know he did bring a gun to school?
-Will Grace's CF play a bigger role as things move forward with her character?
-How will Zig screw things up again? Or how will the writers make Zig screw things up again?
-Will Baaz and Goldi ever interact?
-And there's about 5 million romantic triangles on the show right now. You could always discuss those. To an extent.

I'm really excited to see the exploration of Hunter in the wake of him having brought the gun to school. It's clear he's suffering from mental illness of some sort, so I hope they really go there, making him more than just another tragic figure.

I'd like to see Tristan/Miles get to a place where they can finally be back together, as well as a more likeable side of Jonah as the Frankie/Jonah relationship develops.

More Shay and how she's continuing to handle Tiny/Lola together. Maybe she throws herself into her studies harder, maybe she allows herself to loosen up more. Who knows.

Zoe/Grace...I think they have a lot of chemistry together so I'd love it if there's some twist where Grace wasn't completely honest about not liking Zoe romantically, but even if that were the case I think after last season it'd be a bit before they could be together. I'd like to see them on good terms either way because they're one of my favorite relationships currently.



Definitely want to see more of Hunter. I'm honestly not sure what I want Miles to do about Hunter's secret since his parents aren't that useful anyway but I hope Hunter gets to a place where he seeks help somewhere. I'd like to also see Esme get to a place where she realizes she needs help too.

Other than that, just learning more about Baaz, Goldi, Vijay and Yael. Maybe since they are siblings get some insight on Baaz/Goldi's home life.

I'm definitely on board with that last one about Baaz and Goldi.

In some other threads recently we talked about the possibility of Zig having a job focused story line. I'll extend to most any of the character not named Hollingsworth or Matlin. It's been a good while since we had an extended story line about someone working and since that can be such a major part of a student's experience during high school I think we're do for one.

Finally,, we get some info on when S2 is airing in Canada, and it looks like they'll be able to see the whole season the same day as those of us watching on Netflix will be able to.

If the graduates are back at Degrassi for an episode, I'd like to see is a battle of the bands with Downtown Sasquatch vs Hell Hath No Fury. If they are going to bring Jake Epstein back to sing, I want him to see an old tune. Lauren Collins has joked she wants a geriatric version of the famous season 3 face off. That sounds like a great idea for a mini.



How is everyone preparing? I am going to buy maple leaf shaped cookies at Trader Joe's. That's all I got for my menu so far.

Honestly I don't relate to any of this new cast in I saw them as trite, boring and unfeeling. I wouldn't invest in any of their storyline especially those love story ones cause I don't trust the writers of this show. They will just disappoint you big time. We have been a victim of this in Degrassi New Generation. They build up a storyline between Emma and Sean for almost 4 years then they just destroyed it in the end by having her marry a different guy. Yes I'm a big SEMMA fan and we are still mourning for the end of that pairing.So my warning don't invest to much on this new show. that's all
