I wasn't a huge fan of this episode. That being said, I'm glad Tiny got his own plot, but of course it ended up returning right back to #RelationshipDrama anyway.
This Frankie plot is starting to get boring, mostly it's the same thing over and over again. |

There did seem to be a bit of a breakthrough with Frankie, though, from the way Jonah finally laid it out to her to her accepting help for the flat to even the little thaw we see from Shay towards her with that message on her voice mail.
As for the rest of this episode, it just seemed like a continuation of the episode prior to this one, with the inevitable outcomes becoming more and more pronounced. Still, it was nice to get a little something from Tiny's POV. __________________

I also feel like it´s starting to move forward with Frankie. Sometimes you need to get away from things to get a new perspektive. I just wondered why she didn´t call Miles when her car broke. I thought they were closer.
But Jonah... He was the ex druggie, ex sex addict in S14 with a lot backstory still to cover. Now he is the good son, wise boyfriend who talks down on his girlfriend as if he has never made a mistake (even though he´s right in what he´s saying). I just don´t see the character he was in S14 anymore and I´m not very fond of his new persona. Maybe that´s because he´s only seen with Frankie so far and IMO they don´t have chemistry together while his old persona had a lot chemistry with Becky. Tiny POV was nice but I didn´t like how - after all the development - they gave Lola the dumb girl part again to make Shay shine as the wise one besides her. We always wondered why Tiny switched from Shay to Lola in a second and now it seems he doesn´t really know which way to turn. It was nice to see his honesty with Lola and in a way I can understand he likes both of them because they are quite different. But I for sure prefer Tola over Shiny. Last episode I had that funny, not serious thought that the three of them were set up for a three-way relationship, this episode I asked myself if that not really might be the route they´re going to take... Love the Tristan/Zoe friendship. Their raw honesty with each other is refreshing. IMO they´re doing really good on the self harm storyline. But I ask myself if this really is only about being in the closet or also about being really hurt by the first person she had really loved. I mean with a guy she´s kinda in control because she doesn´t fall in love, with a girl she can fall in love and get hurt. |

too much Frankie for my taste, she really is my least favorite character of the group, shes just never resonated with me whatsoever.
And I agree her storyline is getting old. This was my least favorite episode this season. Personally I think Shay/Tiny makes more sense and always has. __________________

Yeah this episode was possibly the weakest in the bunch, but I did enjoy it.
I liked the moment with Frankie locking the door on the black guy, I actually thought something bad was going to happen to Frankie since this was the ~running away plot~ but it went back to the racism plot. Nicely done. __________________
