I wish the show would have given it more focus, though what we got was good. There was just so much more they good have tapped into but didn't. Sigh.

Yeah and I feel like when they all actually get along, they don't get scene together which it doesn't make sense since they're family.. Sigh..

I think they could have done so much more with the NHL storyline. They all had great chemistry but alas OTH.

I swear this should have been the show's tagline. We could have done this, we could have executed this well, we could have wrote a good storyline.....but alas we're OTH!

THE NHL storyline had so much potential that I feel they never fully explored in any season. Though we did get some great stuff.

And that would have been a perfect tagline.

For sure. I think we've all already discussed this a lot of times, but NHL had so much potential/chemistry and they actually made sense and that all went nowhere. In season 1 I felt like it was decently explored, with Lucas/Nathan being rivals and Haley the only character both brothers loved, even if in different ways, of course. The problem was when Lucas and Nathan started getting along. That's when NHL stopped having so much focus.

^ Completely agree w/ you plus I don't get it why we don't get NHL when Nathan and Lucas get along since there are lot of things that they can do w/ them.. Sigh..

I was kinda disappointed that they couldn't at least have one scene in S9 but with the filming schedules and all that I understood why but it still sucks.
