Lucas/Haley/Nathan (OT3) #4: Because they did it all. Together

:star: Welcome to the third Lucas/Haley/Nathan Appreciation Thread :star:

This thread is to discuss the dynamic between the Scott brothers and the girl they both "love and respect", Haley James Scott.

Lucas, Haley and Nathan share a tangled web of relationships; best friends, brothers and lovers, the dynamic between them is bound to be amazing. So if you love the Lucas/Haley friendship, believe Nathan/Haley belong together, think Lucas/Nathan are the hottest brothers on TV and just love seeing Lucas, Haley and Nathan on screen together this is the place for you!

Reasons Why We Love Them!

1. Because Haley is the girl they both "love and respect"
2. Because they are all family now.
3. Because two HOT guys and one GORGEOUS girl, what could be better than that?
4. Because Nathan told Luke to "get his own wife"
5. Because Lucas trusted Nathan to look after Haley
6. Because Nathan went to see his brother in hospital because Haley couldn't.
7. Because L/H showed up to bail out Nathan
8. Because everyone left the party but them when the cops showed up
9. Because there are NO REGRETS
10. Because they were BOTH rooting for Nathan
11. Because Lucas said "you guys" (SITN)
12. Because Haley tried to play matchmaker.
13. Because Lucas asked Haley to give Nathan a break on the whole porn thing.
14. Because both Nathan and Lucas are important in Haley's life.
15. Because they talk to each about there problems, that are about each other or something else.
16. Because Haley, not a big sports fan, goes to games just to see both Nathan and Lucas play.
17. Because Lucas let Haley borrow his basketball that Nathan used to teach her how to shoot a free-throw.
18. Because both Lucas and Haley have tattoos, now all we need is for Nathan to get one..
19. Because both Nathan and Lucas get to hug Haley and vice versa.
20. Because they support each others choices, even if they may not agree with them.
21. Because both Nathan and Lucas have seen Haley cry and have been there to console her.
22. Because she bidded and won Lucas since she gets Nathan for free.
23. Because Lucas and Nathan were already Scott's but now Haley is too.
24. Because it is NOT a creepy threesome.
25. Because they both call her "Hales"

Have more reasons? Post them on the thread!

 Still can't believe Mark though Lucas was only need for one episode. It's crap.

That being said, I love how adamant Lucas was about Nathan going home. I think part of it was as a means to calm Haley down, to give her some peace, but I think part of it had to do with the fact that he knows it's the truth. That he known his brother, knows how strong he is, how much he love his wife and kids, that he would do all he could to get back to them. His faith in Nathan, his want for him to be okay is such a stark difference from his feeling towards his brother at the start of the show. So even though we go no LN or LHN it was nice scene to show how full circle things really are with LHN.

But I also think he kept repetiting himself so that he would believe it too you know

I agree w/ everything you said which that's what I like that even I would love to have LHN scene, but unfortunately, it won't happen.. Sigh..

Deep inside, Lucas knows his brother. He knows he will make it.

Agreed. It frustrates me even more when I think about the fact that he's bringing back this Xavier guy for a few episodes for a completely unnecessary and useless storyline, yet he felt like Lucas, someone who used to be the main character, was only needed for one episode.

Completely agree. I love NL, so I still find it utterly ridiculous that Mark didn't find it necessary this season or s6 to have a final scene between the 2 brothers who started this whole show. Like you said, though, Lucas's return did show how full circle things are with LHN. I love how from the get go, Haley has been adamant about something being wrong with Nathan. She knows he's in trouble. In contrast, I love how adamant Lucas was about Nathan coming home. I think it shows the strong bond they both have with Nathan and the strong bond all 3 of them have together.

I agree. He knows how much of a fighter Nathan is and he will come home, safe and sound.

Sad we will never get the chance to see them again, because the show should end with them

Ok I gotta say I get major secondhand embarrassment when I watch the kidnapping scenes. The accent is so....oh lawd. Like really, was that necessary? And the clothes and the sleazy hair? Kidnapper trade marks circa cheesy movies from the 80s.

Don't even get me started on the Lucas thing. One ep?! Ughh. I mean yeah, YAY that we got an ep but blahhh just way too little LH and no effing NHL at all.

LOL. I'm actually enjoying the kidnapping storyline from Nathan's perspective because I feel like he's finally acting like the old Nathan, plus seeing James Lafferty tied up to a chair is enough to make me enjoy it, but the kidnapper is embarrassing and so freaking annoying. I typically mute the TV when he's speaking. LOL. You're spot on about it seeming like he stepped straight out of a cheesy 1980's movie.

Agreed. I am so happy and grateful that we at least got him back and got a last chance at seeing LH, but the opportunities for him not just in this episode, but for future episodes as well are glaring, so it's hard to not get frustrated.
