. But can't believe we got to see the show start with the two brothers at odds due to basketball and end with their relationship better, their son/nephew playing on that same court. Crazy.

Agreed! I've been watching OTH since the beginning and I have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that I've actually spent nine years watching it. Actually, I have a harder time wrapping my head around the fact that a show like OTH was able to last nine seasons especially when you consider how bad it got at times.

I've always been bitter about the way the writers almost completely abandoned the original premise of the show, especially in season 8, but I have to give them props for managing to bring it back in the final season with the focus on the Scott family and ending the season with Jamie playing.

Maybe I'm biased, but the focus back to the Scotts in season nine definitely made for some captivating and heartfelt stories. From what I gather everything else, except for CQ's drama was crap.

it still feels like another episode of Season 2 will be airing next week when we feel Haley might come back to Nathan

Uh yeah I haven't watched anything when it comes to the other characters but lawd, I was so glad they brought back some of that old school feeling with the Scotts. About time too. The show was just eons better when they actually had characters that worked well together and a few storylines you could bother following.
