I still can't decide if I like Jack/Kate or Sawyer/Kate. I think she had a thing for Jack from the very beginning but Sawyer kind of crept up on her. My preference is Jack but at the same time Sawyer went through a lot of changes and was a great character too.

Love this episode.

Great Hurley Jack scenes! I liked that Jack found out so soon that it was Kate who was the fugitive. Hurleys first scene with kate he could never play poker.

Kate's flashback was great, loved to see a how that played out - and felt so bad for Ray even though he betrayed her you could see he cared for her. And she cared for him i didn't see kate as a bad person - just wondered what her crime was.

Charlie/Claire scene! charlie would hit on a pregnant woman

Walt is still annoying.

Michael walking in on sun cleaning herself - like seriously wtf why did sun take so long to cover herself :roll_eyes:

jack/kate scene in the rain was so intense! Jack saying he wasn't a murderer

i wish sawyer and jack were bros instead of enemies and sawyer shooting agent and he still survived poor sawyer

Locke finding vincent and making it seem like michael did so great. Walt seeing vincent was so great - only time he didn't irritate me

Jack/Kate scene on the beach - love that Jack didn't want to know. And jack's echoing of Rays line about fresh starts/starting over

i love the song playing in the end Jin really does love sun - no matter how much they make him out to be a douche and Boone giving Shannon her glasses - her smile Saayid/Sawyer little moment

why did they have to make Locke so creepy in the end?!

I finally got around to watching this week's ep!
I NOTICED THIS TOO! I was like "Why isn't she covering up sooner...?"

Anyway, it's so funny because what i remember most from Lost is having to wait so long for everything, and then right off the bat, you find out that Kate was a prisoner of some sort. IDK, it just came at me from nowhere. I love doing rewatches like this because I then realize how much gets screwed up and shifted around in my head. I've probably watched season 1 a good 9-10 times and yet I STILL thought the 2nd (or 3rd I guess) episode was Jack Centric. Oh well.

As I was watching I was again struck by just what brilliant story telling the writers did, especially in season 1. I love how each back story is relevant to what's happening on the Island. The fact that we find out Kate is a fugitive and then everyone is handing her a gun as she pretends not to know what to do with one, is just fantastic! Love it!

I LOVE the early Charlie/Claire stuff. So sweet! And it's always kind of funny to me how they made Sawyer out as such a jerk in these first eps. You can see a bit of his sassy self when he and Jack are both in the plane scavenging. It's a nice change after his total ass-hattery in the pilot.

All in all a fantastic ep. (duh. )

Yeah - with both sawyer and jin its like enough with the douche-bag-y ness - except i totally feel the sympathy for them with the rewatches - when the show aired i hated them both now its like i feel your pain babies
