I watched the unaired pilot for the first time and the other guy was okay

he kinda reminded me of season 4 Marty

the only season I actually liked Dean was in S1

I never watched season 1. Same goes with season 4-7! Only watched Milo's episodes and the show itself wasn't that much of an interesting too me. Not to mention, I found it, after I stared watching Heroes and fell in love with Milo's face there! Then I googled his name, and this is how I saw he was in the Gilmore Girls.

I didn't have that same problem and I'm not having it now. It's actually refreshing to watch from where Jess started his journey and the man he has become thanks to it.
