GOODBYE, MYSTIC FALLS — In the aftermath of Alaric (Matt Davis) and Jo’s (guest star Jodi Lyn O’Keefe) powerful nuptials, things take a dramatic turn when an uninvited guest shows up, leaving Elena (Nina Dobrev) in terrible jeopardy. Despite Matt’s (Zach Roerig) advice to leave town to protect herself, a defiant Bonnie (Kat Graham) takes matters into her own hands after finding herself on the receiving end of a twisted plan. As Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline (Candice Accola) reach an emotional crossroad in their relationship, a reunion with Liv (guest star Penelope Mitchell) leaves Tyler (Michael Trevino) faced with a decision that could change his life forever. Meanwhile, Lily's (guest star Annie Wersching) reckless actions cause Stefan to realize the lengths to which his mother will go to reunite with her “family.” Finally, after a devastating chain of events, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) is forced to make the most difficult decision of his life. Michael Malarkey also stars.

Isn't this thread for speculation? I don't see why we shouldn't react to potential story lines just bc they haven't happened. No one is crying over here, we're just commenting on things like you are.

This title.

Nina did some interviews this week and she mentioned that the news of her exit came out sooner than they planned because someone let something slip. Yet, JP has been claiming in interviews that they timed all of this. The woman cannot be trusted.

JP actually said the same thing in an interview I read last week. She said they had planned to tell people bc they didn't want to shock ppl like that during the finale but that when someone let something slip and it spread over Twitter, they chose to address it then... So her story matches up with Nina's. I think it wasn't that far off from when they were gonna announce it.

I don't believe for one minute that Nina intended to leave after season 6 i think that is the story they all came up with i do not believe in coincidences that the moment that ian moved and married niki suddenly she wanted out
