Katey Sagal would be a great candidate--I love her. Plus it would mix with the show's habit of using well-known former sitcom stars. Wonder if there's anyone left from the cast of Roseanne that would fit the part?

Let's see we have 10 more episodes, 2 we know about. We may see penny say ILY in the season finale or about epsiode 20 and a proposal in the finale. That would set the next season up nicely, especially if they leave you waiting for her answer.

TBBT seems to try to use the whole cast each episode, so more likely the parents come out to see Penny. She may have some real issues with her Mother as a lot of women do. At the end of the first visit of Leonard's mother she complains how her mother didn't talk to her dad for her. Could be a great episode.

Just because L&P could be in Nebraska meeting Penny's family (Roseanne as her mom) it doesn't mean they wouldn't cross back to the other guys doing their thing.

I really want to see her dad and Leonard meeting again, should be a laugh. Also with Roseanne Chuck with have a chance for mother in-law jokes and Leonard getting a look at how Penny could turn out

Too old he just turned 46, I believe its her little brother, she was Daddy's slugger after all so that would say first born. Needs to be some one pretty edgy, real thin to gauntness. stay with the Rosanne theme, who was the son ?

It would be a great episode, Sheldon would have to survive the time without his co-dependents. They might have to have Raj stay with him, might give them the opening to make some changes to the living arrangments if they decide to have LP want to move in togehter. That conlict in itself should make for a good episode.

You know, Roseanne really would be awesome for the mother! A perky blond is just too obvious...plus Sheldon did make that overweight joke about her mother in whichever episode it was that Penny stole the last dumpling ("I've seen pictures of your mother...keep eating." ) I think it could work.

You know who would be awesome as Penny's brother? Jonathon Taylor Thomas from Home Improvement. He was like my generation's Justin Bieber . Or, perhaps more in line with the 'look' we're going for considering the meth thing, Macaulay Caulkin.

No it needs to be Roseanne, who can be somewhat perky on screen when needed. I think she would be a great fit for Penny.

We've had two episodes taped since the 100th and L/P have not slept together or to our knowledge they haven't slept together. So it does appear that they are taking their relationship more slowly this time. I think that they both realize that sex was never their problem. It must be difficult for both of them because they obviously had a great sex life, but they really seem to be working to make every aspect of their relationship better. Their will be some ups and downs but I hope the writers keep them together for the rest of the series to allow them to build on their relationship.
