Hello everyone. This is an important reminder to let you know that this is the Nathan/Haley spoiler thread for OTH, meant for fans of this particular couple. If you're not a fan of them, this thread is NOT for you. Keep the posts on topic about them, and keep posts from other threads out of the Nathan/Haley one. Shipper wars are not allowed and will not be tolerated. Please keep things civilized and respectful.

Effective immediately, the Spoilers Board Moderators reserve the right to temporarily close any thread that does not heed four official warnings given on any issue. This means that, if the Spoilers Board Moderators have to come in with four official warnings about any issue whatsoever, within 24 hours or so, then that particular thread will be temporarily closed. The duration of closure is subject to the Spoilers Board Moderators' discretion. Keedar Whittle (Nino) is apparently returning for season seven. The Atlanta native is happy that his 'One Tree Hill' character Nino Jones will be returning when show comes back for its seventh season in the fall. "My character will be back next season but if I can write my own storyline, I would fall in love with one of the main characters or become Nathan's best friend and make sure I'm on every Monday," Whittle said. ''One Tree Hill' is an extreme blessing. I'm completely thankful for the opportunity. It's great just being apart of a major production and a well-oiled machine."

Susan just posted on the OTH news thread that The Futon Critic has reported that there is a change in the CW schedule for OTH and that the show will be going on hiatus after 7.18, with 7.19 returning on April 19th.

So there won't be any new episode description this week. The next one will come out 2 weeks before 7.19 airs in April.

Maybe they did that to give more time for them to decide if they want Mark to write a season or series finale? I just really hope Mark & Co don't find out too late if they are renewed or not.

I don't think the show thought it would go on hiatus after 7.18 so I doubt we will see any cliff hanger.

I have no inside knowledge of how things work, so this is just my opinion, but when the episode airs shouldn't have any impact on the decision to renew, in terms of giving them more time to make that decision. They're filming episode 20 right right now which means that minimally, episode 21 would already be written. Unless we hear about the show taking a filming break...which I imagine would be a costly endeavor and unlikely to happen...then I assume its status quo in terms or writing the remaining eps of the season. Hopefully they are taking into account the fact that Episode 22 could be the last one and writing something that could work as a series finale if need be.

It's not a real surprise because all the CW shows are going on break. Some before others like Vampires Diaries and some like Smallville have 2 episodes left as well.

I think it has more to do about both OTH & GG having their season final on the same night.

6 episodes of OTH paired with LUX/6 episodes of GG paired with LUX and one LUX episode on its own (the March 1st one).
