I think what is slightly annoying me is that we have not seen Riley at work you know a teacher which sometimes I forget she is, Im hoping it is on her way to work that she gets discovered but it most likely be when she is visiting Jonah on set or something.

Yeah true. MP is so "Flashy" that I doubt we'll see Riley at work much if ever. Her and Jonah do not fit in with that place LOL.

Yeah that's what bugs me. Riley is defined through her (failing) relationship with Jonah. While we see him outside of their relationship working or struggling, she gets nothing.

She gets her "friendship" with Auggie. Haha, I'm sorry but that SL was so obvious. We all saw it coming a mile away. (Same with Ella and Jonah) They need to be a little more subtle setting things like that up.

Yeah but I don't want her to be defined through her relationships with Jonah or Auggie for that matter. Plus Auggie adn Riley is clearly only another plot point to highlight why Jonah should be with Ella. It's so obvious. They need to just hook Jonah and Ella up and get it out of their system and then Riley can be free to get her own storylines and drama.

I agree chastidy its like she is Jonah gf and nothing else. urgh Im sure the jeans campaign will cause another argument between both of them.

Here is the thing, I love JL as an actress. I have since My So Called Life actually. But I just don't see Riley being able to carry a SL of her own really with in this show. Outside of relationships that is. Would I like to be proven wrong? For sure. But we'll see.

I don't see it that way. I think she is but Riley is actually the most limited character in the show at the moment. She's just a walking talking plot point who is there to sell Jonah and Ella.

I think it depends on the SL they give her which could be really interesting or not.

Lauren (Stephanie Jacobsen) is torn between going on a shopping date with Riley (Jessica Lucas) for her wedding and impressing her new boss Wendi (guest star Kelly Carlson) who just set her up on a “date.” A stunned Jonah (Michael Rady) is accused of stealing a diamond necklace from a mansion he videotaped for a realtor, but becomes even more upset after Ella mentions a similar necklace that she saw in David’s (Shaun Sipos) apartment.
