I agree that C still likes N and that makes me sad, because he deserves a better friend. And if there were some kind of motivation shown on screen for Ns actions, I might still care for him, but as it is, I just don't.

I think that the problem with GG is that it is very much a relationship driven show. And when you are part of a popular couple, it guarantees face time. If not, well good luck to you!

GG doesn't really do any friendship s/ls except for SB. That's why I think Nate is in this limbo. He's not really in a popular pairing and they really don't do friendships s/ls. So, you don't really know his motive and he's not being flesh out.

ICA. These shows are all about the ships and if you're not in a really popular one, you suffer. But before the S2 decimation of C/N, the bromance was a really popular ship so I just don't get why it was left to flounder. It was murdered by the writers and I don't get it at all

Oh, I loved CN bromance. It's so sad what happened to it.

But if you've noticed, they decided to take N out of UES with his family s/l. When that happened his screen time got less and less. And then he had an off screen relationship with V. And then in C's end, he and B were doing their little dance. And then his father died and they just didn't share that many scenes anymore. And when they did it was the CBN love triangle. So yeah. Compare that to SB who share screen time every single episode so even though they are both acting stupid things gets resolved.

Jasmin, that's exactly it. Why couldn't the bromance get the same kind of love that S/B get? The same stuff has happened to their ships but S/B got a redeeming sl and C/N got ... nada.
