I really liked the storyline of Severide reconnecting with a childhood/teenage friend and them falling for each other all of again. I wish that could have been more of a permanent storyline on just CF without her having to be a part of Chicago Med now. That would have been a nice strong storyline in my opinion although I have to admit I wasn't really a fan of the actress they chose. (I remember actually watching her on Top model lol) Wish it wasn't let go so quickly.

What do you guys think?

When I first saw it I also thought it meant within the firehouse, though now it's been mentioned I can also see it being generally in the Chicago Fire universe as someone mentioned.

The storyline could have had potential but once they've slept together, it felt totally rushed. I didn't buy it to be honest. Like you I wasn't impressed one bit by Yaya.

Now it's over. Time to move on. I'm all for Kelly getting some stability though.

I completely agree. the storyline has great potential but It all happened wayyy too fast so I'm definitely looking forward to a more stable growing relationship for him.

What's funny is that Derek and Michael aren't even writting for Chicago Med. They're just consultants. I guess they'll have to start working on Chicago PD first since the show comes back sooner. And I really hope they warn the viewers of Chicago Fire is they really plan on wrapping Casey's storyline on PD.
