I stopped relaying on YouTube to watch my anime. Now I just buy the DVDs. I just finished my Marmalade Boy collection. All 76 episodes. ^^

I haven't really gotten in to any anime series for a long time. Although there are some series that I want to get on DVD.

The funny part is that when I started liking anime, I bought it on VHS and thought it was expensive ($24 for the VHS version of the Sailor Moon S movie). Now in this day and age, it's at least $5-10.

How many Gundams are there now?

I mostly depend on Netflix for my animes now.

Yamiko, I totally agree about the cost. I bought a VHS and it was almost $30. Boy how times have changed.

I'm pretty sure there's a lot of Gundam series .

Yeah, times have changed indeed. I suppose I should have waited until DVDs came out when it became super cheap.

Los- How cheap are we talking about?

How much does every usually get their manga for? I went to barnes and noble online and got my Marmalade Boy series for 10$ per book. Then I looked inside the barnes and noble store and they had their books there for 20$. >-< Misleading prices, I guess. lol

Books at the BN store are always more expensive than online. Very bizzarre.

Depends on the title Kris, I bought Bastard and Death Note today. I got Death note for 35. Complete series. Bastard was 15. Most are 30 bucks for the complete series.

Getting last exile, Basilisk and Samurai Champ next week. I am building up my collection nicely.

Manga are expensive. Usually 10. My friend sold a lot of his this past month for 3 a book. I bought some and he sold a lot today too.

My fiance's brother loves Death Note. But I haven't exactly read it myself. It's a big thing though.

^ i love the Death Note anime series. And the english version, IMO, has the best voice work of any anime dub...it is just as good as the original Japanese audio

Yeah, I've been meaning to check it out but I don't really have the funds for buying it on DVD. Can't trust YouTube much these days since they may end up taking out episodes.
