Has anyone seen the Japanese version of the first Vampire Hunter D movie? Because the only one I've seen was the English version and I don't know if they have it on DVD (currently have it on VHS). I know Bloodlust doesn't have the Japanese audio on the DVD.

I have never seen the first movie but am still disappointed that they never had a Japanese dub for it. Would have liked to have heard that.

Weird that they wouldn't have it up there. It's a cult classic.... especially since there's a sequel? Now that I think about it, it's hardly ever mentioned. I was at the Vampire Hunter D booth one year and they didn't even sell the first movie there.

Oh, if you're talking about in general, yeah, there are some clips of both versions. But if you're talking about in terms of the Japanese dialogue, none.

That's odd. Or maybe it's because Vampire Hunter D was made in the 80's?

No idea what is up with that. It was the official booth too. They were having a signing with the Director/Writer.. forgot. I didn't realize it was a sequel at the time until later.

There's a good difference between the first movie and Bloodlust

They're saying that the first movie has the Japanese audio on DVD so maybe I could check it out after all I know for sure there's no Japanese audio for Bloodlust though.

I should try making one of these though. It looks cute

Yeah, there are major differences.. plus a decade between the two films. As montonous as D is, I like him.

Cute! The hair is great.

How cute. But aren't they taking alot of the anime videos off YouTube. Because I have been seeing less Marmalade Boy videos since last month. But it might just be the poster of the video. lol

Maybe. But yeah, it's common these days. Especially when Google took over YouTube. I think there are some series that still have its episodes.

Los, just by looking at the cover, it looks like the "somewhat" female version of The Terminator. Any idea when it was made?

I haven't really seen Hellsing, although I've been meaning to. Cowboy BeBop was all right but I haven't seen the movie for it.

Machine Girl was made in 2007, my friend Jared who is a huge anime nut turned me on to it and we watched it at dinner break at work. it was awesome, plus cute japanese babes

I also love Wolf's rain, FLCL, Berserk, Evangelion,Robotech, Akira, umm so many

I didn't like the ending of Evangelion. Berserk... I heard good things but I couldn't get into it. Robotech definitely.. though I preferred the movie Macross.

Have you seen Bubblegum Crises?

I haven't seen Bubblegum Crisis. I think the only mecha series that I've seen was Rayearth (both the series and OVA) and Gundam Wing
