I'd much rather hear the nominated songs then watch some silly film montage that you know they will replace it with--thus not achieving the goal of having a shorter show.
I always liked hearing the songs...it breaks everything up from being award, award, award, end of show. Kinda makes it boring without the songs. __________________

I agree! I really love hearing the songs as well. The show is long but with the songs being performed it gives you a break from the monotony of it.

Sad.
Another case of too much too soon. When this happens it always makes me question whether kids in Hollywood is the right choice. It's so rare that when actors start their careers so young that they make it through unscathed. So many end up like Corey, strung out and merely a shadow of what they once were. Hollywood kids sure have a tough time when they get older. It's so heartbreaking and I wish they didn't have to go through all of that. Oh man.
