I wouldn't mind a reboot, if they did it from where they left off. Or rebooted movie 3, lets face it, it was a mess. While I'm probaly one of the few fans who enjoyed it, there were some parts I didn't like of it. And if this rumor of Twilight Rob being the next Spider-Man, I'll die. He's simply does not fit the part. Admit it Rob fan girls, he just doesn't look the part. Peter is a geeky nerd, I could see Milo V playing his adult form though. I hate that there going to restart from high school too oh wells. Maybe its time for me to look on other Super Heroe films, Iron Man is at least doing a good job.

'Avatar' smashes North American box office record

LOS ANGELES — "Avatar" has reached yet another milestone, smashing the North American box office record previously held by the 1997 James Cameron epic "Titanic," Fox studios announced on Wednesday.

By Tuesday the futuristic 3-D blockbuster had racked up some 601.1 million dollars in the United States and Canada, overtaking the 600.8 million dollars that "Titanic" earned.

"We have broken the domestic number" for North America, Fox spokeswoman Aviz Hakhamanesh confirmed.

"Avatar" has also earned nine Oscar nominations, including in the leading categories of best film and best director, as well as several technical achievement categories.

Believed to be the most expensive motion picture ever made, the film and has now shattered all the major box-office records previously held by "Titanic."

The love story on the doomed cruiseliner took in 1.8 billion dollars over the course of its release worldwide, but by last weekend "Avatar" had already scored 2.05 billion dollars, just seven weeks after it was released.

Well, I knew that Inflation has been my friend because Gone With The Wind is my all time favorite movie!

It's just big news because it has made more money than Titanic which has been "king of the world" for 12 years.

Love Gone with the Wind!

Avatar lucked out with the Imax Theatre access. Titanic didn't have that option (I would have liked it back then with that movie though...). The Imax theatres are more expensive..so even if Titanic were released today in regular theatres it still wouldn't beat Avatar on $$ made because of Avatars release in Imax.

Anyways....lol. I'm a nerd who saw Titanic like 20 times in the theatre....yup I used to be THAT girl.

I only saw it once in the theaters and maybe three times since then. My best friend went and saw it in the theaters I think about six times. I've never let her live that down. Silly 14 years olds

I know! I'm so ashamed of my past..hehe.

And it's funny because I'm the first one to bash the tween hype around certain things....Miley, Jonas, etc....but hello I was just as bad at that age (New Kids, Titanic, etc.).....

The only thing I was ever insane about was The Backstreet Boys and that lasted from the ages of 15-17 I think. And by insane I mean completely obsessed. My mother even brought it up to me at some point because I think that she was actually worried about my mental state

FINALLY!!!!

Dear John set to beat Avatar this weekend

My family supported my craziness! I remember seeing Titanic for the 9th time in the theatre towards the end of its run...and my dad asked them for the large hanging display from the ceiling...they totally broke out the ladder and gave it to me! I hung it up in my room for years.....It was my prized possesion for a long time. LAME!

Now I will say this though....I wasn't obsessed with the film for Leo....I was obsessed with the Titanic throughout elementary school. I would go to the school library all the time and check out books about it. So when I saw the preview before a movie--I was crazy excited for the movie
