Well, here's another reason why I dislike streaming, Rita.

Cord cutters feel weight of subscription fatigue as video, TV streaming options multiply

It's okay, Dave. But it was still a mistake to not have Mar-Vell in the story.

I'm on Netflix every day. It's hard to take me off it

That's okay. I just prefer to stick with what I've got. I've heard they drop movies and TV shows way too frequently for my tastes. I'm happy with Xfinity.

Ah, the dropping. That must bother people who watch things slowly. Usually if I want to see something, I just watch it ASAP

Yep. That's one of the reasons I don't watch Netflix as much as I might otherwise.

I think people tend to forget that there was a time, not too long ago when you could only watch telly live and if you missed what you wanted to see, you missed it.

Now it seems Netflix doesn't keep things long enough in comparison

Netflix isn't an alternative to watching things on tv for me. It's an alternative to buyng things on dvd. I never did much tv watching, precisely because you couldn't watch things when you wanted to.

I agree, sum1.

Well, that's what On Demand is for, Rita. You can either watch a show live, or if you miss a show live, you can watch it later on cable TV On Demand. But I don't like the idea of paying a monthly fee for three or four subscriptions - Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc. - so I can watch shows and movies I want because the different services will have different options, only to have them drop those shows and movies at a moment's notice. Seriously? This is why I prefer DVD, because I only have to pay for a show or movie once, and after that it's mine forever.

Sorry, Dave. I'm glad your PC problem was fixed. I hope you got your prescription.

Phillies came back from a 2-6 deficit to go ahead of the Nationals 8-6, only to blow it in the last two innings and lose 8-9. The winning streak is over and they're 4-1. Still at the top of the NL East, though.

True, but even crazier now, Dave.

This nonsense about Joe Biden. I swear, this is the reason why I can't stand political correctness or the left. They weaponize every social justice movement into a puritanical religion and begin eating their own when even they can't live up to their own purity test standards.
