Peyton Reed doesn't run Disney. I think they'll want to disturb the MCU as little as possible in their retcon. The MCU is their dominant thing. I don't see them much motivated to do anything about Scott, Hope, Hank and Jan. They already showed how little they care about Hank and Jan. I don't think they give a damn what comic fans want. Yeah, we should drop this topic now.

Claremont did a great job, particularly with female characters. He creaeted or developed a bunch of the best female characters in comics.

Now comes the hard part. How to retcon the entire MCU to include the X-Men, Fantastic Four, and the Avengers. And to make Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne young so they can be in the Avengers.
