I'm guessing the Richard Ryder Nova from the Xandarian Nova Corps.

I agree. He was part of Marvel's cosmic storyline from the 70s that never quite took off. By the 80s most of those characters were gone except for Silver Surfer. They brought Adam Warlock back, and he's still popular with fans.

Nova's been brought back various times since then. I prefer Frankie Raye.

Yeah, they keep brining him back, but he still never clicks. They also do with him what they did with Hal Jordan, making other guys put on the Nova outfit. I despise that.

Well, that Nova is a herald of Galactus. I liked Frankie as well, but two characters with the same name can get confusing.

If this is true then to Feige this is the secret to Marvel Studio's success.

During a recent Reddit AMA, when asked about the key to the MCU's success, the filmmaker noted, "Respect the source material. Hire passionate filmmakers regardless of how much money their last movie made. Hire the best cast regardless of their current marquee value."

Respect the source material? Bull! If he respected the source material then Hank and Janet would be in the Avengers as Ant-Man and The Wasp, Mar-Vell would be a man, Peter Parker would be an adult, and Adam Warlock would've defeated Thanos! Don't give me this respect the source material crap, Feige!

I'm glad you knew, LightYears. But it's true. Feige is flat out lying. He's letting individual directors affect the MCU by forcing the story to be bent to their own liking. The director of Captain Marvel(a woman) is the one who made the last-minute decision to make Mar-Vell a woman instead of a man and Carol's love interest. James Gunn is the one who only wanted to tell Star Lord's story in Guardians of the Galaxy and keep Adam Warlock out of his own story in the Infinity movies. Edgar Wright is the one who wanted to make a Scott Lang heist film that had nothing to do with the Avengers. I don't know who the hell came up with the idea for Spider-Man once again being a teen even though they've done that twice before already. If the MCU is based around the Avengers and Thanos, then the individual movies have to be compatible with that storyline. You can't just shoehorn anything you want in and expect it to work.
