You could still have read up on X-Men on the net or even bothered to read one of dragonfire's articles.

I know. My fault. Apologies. But it's depressing to read about what's going on in comics these days. :(

sum1 04-22-2022 11:42 AM

So read about what went on in comics back in 20th century. :P

PhoenixRising 04-22-2022 05:50 PM

That depresses me too. :( I get nostalgic.

Grrrr. :impatient:

I actually enjoyed the movie thanks to being unacknowledged  aka why anytime its a comic movie I ignore review and rather judge for myself  I know it goes against both of you guys cause you are nick-pick with comic related stuff

I  ya'll both cause you are great friends but outside of that we have a lot of conflicting views in comic plus even Star Wars  So you are both amazing friends, I'll pop into OT later this week after the month is finally over

Well, thanks for letting us know how you felt about the movie, Sarah.

sum1 is correct, the Eternals aren't aliens. They're superhumans who were the result of genetic engineering done on early Earth Homo-sapiens by the cosmic beings known as Celestials, who were responsible for the evolution of the Kree and the Skrulls as well. The point of the Eternals is supposed to be that the Celestials are the creators of latent genes that produced all Earth superhumans, including mutants and human mutate or enhanced superheroes.

Well, sum1's views tend to be stronger than mine, but my only issue is when the movies change things unnecessarily that affect story logic.

Okay, Sarah! I hope we see you soon! I hope you're feeling better.

Thanks for that, dragonfire. :) Is this a reboot of the 90s cartoon?

crash landing 04-27-2022 12:46 AM

I was never considering them to be Alien  even after learnt the truth of their mission

Alex  I'll come back into OT once this month is over  Almost there - so should be around this weekend

sum1 04-27-2022 11:22 AM

The film makes them alien, which is stupid.
