In Marvel's X-Men #9, Gerry Duggan and Javier Pina tease the stories to come in a sometimes disjointed but entertaining soft relaunch.

You mean the one with him, Deadpool, and the guy with the guns?

That's Maverick.

dragonfire 03-13-2022 03:15 PM

So Moira killed Banshee.

Never heard of him. :P Looks like an Image Comics character.

OMG, Moira killed Banshee? Had to be the Irish guy, right?

Yep. Well, more like it had to be the Irish female to kill the Irish male who was also his love interest.

Sorry Sum. :(

PhoenixRising 03-13-2022 06:10 PM

Moira and Banshee? When did that happen?

Yep. Years ago. You know I still find it funny that while I'm not much a comic expert like you I still know things about The X-Men from the comics that you don't.

sum1 03-14-2022 09:21 AM

Moira isn't Irish. She's Scottish.

Well, you know I haven't been keeping up with 21st century Marvel, dragonfire. :P It's too depressing. I stopped reading comics during the 1990s, although I did read some stuff from the early 2000s.

Moira is Scottish? But the name Moira is Celtic, so it could be either or, right?

I think it happened in the 90's though I could be wrong.

I know.

Thanks for telling us Sum. :)

Moira is well established as being Scottish. And Muir Island is supposed to be in Scotland. They ruined her character when they made her a mutant. This Hickman guy screwed the X-Men up so bad.

Yes, I know she is, sum1. :) I was just wondering if the name, Moira, was common in both Scotland and Ireland.

Do I know this Hickman guy?

I kinda drifted away from comics during the mid to late 1990s, dragonfire. :( I couldn't afford them anymore.

sum1 03-16-2022 07:39 AM

Hickman is the guy we've been hearing about for the past three years. He wrote this whole Krakoa X-Men storyline.

Oh, that ass:censored:

Thanks, dragonfire. :)

Yeah, I wish my dad had never moved us out of our home and bought that damn new house he couldn't afford, and that bankrupted him when he got fired for whatever he did to pay for that house. I could've stayed into comics a bit longer.

Oh, have you seen this cover yet?

Oh, for the love of God, not Emma again! :bawl: And I take it Laura is back again?

Well, it seems there's been this poly thing going on between Cyclops, Jean, Emma, and Wolverine.

She's been back.

Check out this new cool cover. :)

That's a cool picture of everyone.
