Not the bloody Hellfire Gala again!

PhoenixRising 04-16-2022 04:33 PM

Thanks, dragonfire! :)

I know, sum1. They can never get enough of the Hellfire Club.

sum1 04-17-2022 02:58 AM

The Gala is the thing where they all dress up like idiots.

I guess it depends on the decade. Some looks are more idiotic than others. ;)

Thanks for that, dragonfire. :)

Oh, the cartoon influenced that wedding in the comics? I didn't watch all of the 90s cartoon, so I had no idea they got married on it.

Butterfly85 04-17-2022 06:06 PM

Oh wow, I didn't know Cyclops and Jean got married on X Men TAS before the comic. I thought that would of been happened in the comics, just another great thing about that show.

Huh? It seems you don't have a clue what I'm talking about. The Hellfire Gala was a thing they invented last year and seem to be repeating this year. All the characters dress up in ridiculous outfits for it.

Oh, sorry. I thought you were implying that the Hellfire Gala's outfits were usually very dated depending on the decade. It was just invented last year and the outfits are that bad? I assumed this was something they'd done since the 1970s when the Hellfire Club was introduced.

Yeah, I'm surprised as well. I didn't think the cartoons would marry them before the comics would.

dragonfire 04-18-2022 08:47 PM

No problem. :)

Dude, you really need to upgrade your X-Men education.

I'm sorry. I told you, I didn't read X-Men growing up. The only X-title I read was X-Factor. I didn't start reading X-Men until the late-80s and early-90s before I couldn't afford to buy comics anymore.

Thanks, dragonfire. :)

Oh, Rogue wasn't powerful enough when she stole Carol Danvers' power? :P

Oh, Deadpool's gonna drop in on Krakoa? That should be fun.
