I've never met anyone called Rodney, that's amazing

Why do they call first floor second floor?

I know what you mean sourburst.

Norman, glad you loved the videos. I know OFAH never aired in USA even when I lived there for 26 years which is a shame because it is actually Britain's best and most loved sitcom.

Now this is one of the legendary moments in OFAH when they finally made it after decades of trying to be one with all their illegal schemes

Just to explain about this scene for people who never watched this epic British sitcom. About 2 brothers, Del Boy and Rodney, living in high rised tower flats in London trying to make ends meet by doing these get rich quick schemes which usually goes horribly wrong with hilarious consequences and nearly every episode Del Boy always says "This time next year, we'll be millionaires " after failed attempts of making money. After 16 years of trying, it was this old watch that they had in their store room all these years thinking it was a piece of junk ended up worth over 6 million pounds - the background to the scene above what makes it epic

I was thinking that just, that we're both just discussing this show in this thread and nobody probably knows what it is.

In the USA, they know about Benny Hill, Are You Being Served, Mr Bean, Blackadder, Monty Python and some know Fawlty Towers but no one has heard of Only Fools and Horses which surprised me a lot considering it was voted British best sitcom by the BBC. The big problem I can see with this sitcom is the use of the London slang which I know won't translate well in the States. If I was born in the USA, I would have never heard of it nor would I understand the slang associated with it. Luckily, during my elementary years, I knew the slang before emigrating to LA. But I really missed the show so I got someone to tape the remaining episodes. I was already in HS in LA when the Batman and Robin episode and Millionnaire episode was first aired in the UK

Growing up in Canada, I got a lot of British kid shows to watch like Danger Mouse, and Rainbow, etc. And an advantage to having a connection to Britain, we get British programs on our channels and streaming services.

One comedy show I liked was “Extras”. And also a creepy one about a psychic called “Afterlife”.
