Used to live in Leicester, and I still have friends there, so it has a special place in my heart.

Sad that they've had to go back to a full lockdown, but I'm sure other places will follow at some point.

As for York my great-aunt lives there. I live in Kent though, so I'm not likely to go that way for some time...

Yes, it's such a shame about the lockdown. My family were going to come and visit me this weekend too, so now I don't know when we'll get to see each other.

All my family are from Leicester and when I was a baby my parents and I had to move to North Yorkshire because of my dad's job.
We've been there ever since (well, it's just me now).

We've been to Leicester en route to Nottingham quite a few times - my wife has relatives in these cities - she's an Essex girl (TOWIE) . Leicester has some very good curry places. Every time we visit Leicester, we go for a good curry there .
I've become a big fan of Indian food since moving "back" to the UK.
Which is the bigger city of the two? It seems like Nottingham is bigger - certainly has green spaces.

Thanks Norman!

^ Yes, Leicester is on lockdown unfortunately. I'm going to have a long wait to be able to see my family, and I rarely get to see them as it is.

I have been there but not for a long time. I'd love to go again, and get lots of photos!

Where is Worcester? Is it close to Birmingham?

Worcester is in the West Midlands and is 32 miles by car to Birmingham.
