Mostly it's unreal for me to have 'The Christmas Special' when I don't feel at all christmassy (still!)
If I can't accept that then I am nowhere near close to accepting that this is the end of this Era of DW. __________________

yeah, it's exactly the same for me!
Doesn't help that it's 20 degrees C and completely sunny here today, either... __________________

It is on today. Doesn't feel like it will be on, though. I am still debating with myself on whether or not I want to watch it live.
Well, I guess that depends on how long we will stay with the grandparents tonight __________________

Somehow I am quite sure that even if this is not THE episode it will be very sad anyway. Even if it is just that thought in your head of what is about to happen

Less than 6 hours to go!
Considering how depressing LAST episode was it is safe to say today will be depressing. __________________

This is SO surreal for me. For the very first time in history (or.. since I've begun watching this show, at least ) I am not looking very much forward to a new episode
Don't get me wrong, I am so anxious to see it and I am sure I will LOVE it, but just... knowing that this is part 1 of the end, makes me want to run away and hide in a corner and put my fingers in my ears and go LA LA LA LA LAAAAA...... Plus, I'm not sure if I'll even get to watch it today, because my internet here is made of SO much fail and it keeps disconnecting every 10 minutes or so, so downloading files that are bigger than, say, 30mb or so is almost impossible... I'm just praying that tonight some sort of Christmas miracle will happen and it'll work better for once... __________________

Same here. I cannot even form a coherent thought about this ... it is so weird.
I was definitely not expecting this. John Simm in a dress, though __________________

Best scene: The Doctor and Wilf in the cafe. __________________

My mind keeps going from "what the hell?" over "impossible!" to "bloody sodding hell, no". I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it wasn't this.
Donna was brilliant and of course Wilf was too! Wilf ftw! And John Simm in a dress was rather funny, but I'm really blown by the events of it all. |

That cafe scene was brilliant. I was laughing and crying at the same time. And David's performance was astounding.
It is weird, though ... the episode felt like it was only 20 minutes long. __________________

GUH
I'm not sure what to say, but I LOVEEEEDDDDDDDD it. THE END! YESSSSSSSSSSSSS AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I think this is one of those episodes though that will really fall into place with the second part, I can't quite form an opinion yet. Though I did really, REALLY love everything John Simm did. Bloody brilliant Same goes for Wilf. And DONNA! Ten crying almost broke me. I'm so glad I wasn't spoiled for anything at all, cause I really didn't see anything of it coming. Well, except the end of course __________________

I think you are absolutely right about this only falling into place with part 2.
Those multiple!Simms were marvellous! Total crack but so very epic I actually thought that the Master would turn the humans into timelords ... well, he sort of did. But when they actually returned at the end. Shivers!!! __________________
