The Ood warn of a great danger approaching, as a terrible shadow falls across the entire Universe...

Christmas Day, 6pm on BBC One.

I thought with only a little over a week to go, we could start talking about the first part of Ten's last adventure ... what, no! :bawl:

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH :thud: :thud: :thud:

I am NOT going to survive this, no WAY! :bawl:

Mrs.Almeida 12-16-2009 01:53 PM

I actually wanted to post this earlier but it was so hard :(

It is just so strange that it is happening ... it was always so far away

Ooh, nice banner. :)

Can anyone tell me the font for the title?

Mrs.Almeida 12-19-2009 02:56 AM

It is called "Deviant strain" or something like that ... ;)

SiriuslyPotter 12-19-2009 08:27 AM

I'm really dreading this to be honest :( ... Doctor Who is now making me dread christmas! I really don't want the Tenth Doctor/RTD Era to be over. :(

Wow, it's finally here. :thud: I'm not sure what to feel right now, so many emotions. A great sadness, excitement & curiousity....

I can't even bear to think of what state I will be in when the end arrives. :(

Well, not as bad as me. At least you can turn over and recover, I've got to watch Syed being forced into marriage by his mother after telling her he's gay on EastEnders! :bawl: :bawl: I'm going to be such a state at 8.30.

Well, I don't have to, but... yeah, I can't miss it.

Sounds dramatic.
Yeah, I think I will probably sit in a darkened room and weep afterwards.

stoptheqtip 12-19-2009 06:18 PM

I don't understand why they thought it was a good idea to schedule these things back-to-back. Oh, yeah, most people aren't obsessed with both EE and Doctor Who. They're pretty much separate parts of the Venn diagram.

That's what I'm doing after EE finishes. Especially if the wedding does go ahead, as I suspect it will.

SiriuslyPotter 12-19-2009 06:34 PM

They may be right to put it then , because dramatic and depressing TV generally does quite well. Won't do good for the audiences emotional state but the BBC will get ratings success!

You'll need the dark room even more than me then double depressing for you,

Instead of lying, curled and broken in a mess on the floor in my bedroom, I'll be posting on the Christian/Syed thread on DS BUT that'll be the internet equivalent of lying curled and broken in a mess on the floor. Except other people will be there to keep me company. Then I'll be coming on here to post on the episode thread, where everyone's going to be devastated.

SOUNDS LIKE SO MUCH FUN. Should I get the Prozac now as a pre-emptive strike, or wait until the depression is here?
