If you go to the link in the first post about GreeneStreet it basically details that they picked up the international rights for LoM - they made the deal at CIFF this year. So because of that they might showcase it there since it's already been sold internationally.
Most times when they're trying to sell it domestically they usually opt for a North American film festival instead with Sundance and Toronto being the two biggest for sales. __________________
