The writers in Canada come under a different union, but I read that they support writters in US by refusing to write things for US television.

I just saw another interview with Matty from the Lili Claire event and he mentioned the movie again (and Lauren). That makes me happy

I'm hoping that it gets some buzz.

"The Laws of Motion" isn't premiering at Sundance, so I reckon they'll be targeting either Cannes or Toronto now. Only reason I mention Cannes is because of the GreeneStreet deal that was announced at the CFF this year.

Darn, I don't live close to any of those cities.

I know Sundance is in January. So I checked the other ones.

Toronto is in September. Cannes is around May.

I hope it's Cannes so it's sooner rather than later. I was really hoping it would be Sundance. I was getting anxious knowing that it was coming up quickly.

2008 is just around the corner. So we should have at least 2 Lauren movies to look forward to. That makes me excited.

Too bad they won't premiere it at Seattle IFF or Vancouver IFF.
