I have a theory.

I think the making out happens in episode 6. Lauren was on Ellen on September 27th. And they're usually 4 episodes in the can by the air date on GG. So Sept 28th, the day after her interivew episode 2 aired, which meant they were probably filming episode 6 when she appeared on Ellen. Plus, Norman Mailer, who guest stars on 5.06 said in an article that he liked "the Luke and Lorelai bit."

I don't know, my math may be off, but I'm pretty sure that's how it works out. If we don't get some "nlah nlah" type kisses by episode 6, then we know that even if L/L aren't sharing some tongue kisses onscreen, Scott and Lauren are off anyway!!

Dude, remember when Jess kissed Rory in the Thanksgiving episode and Lorelai's like "Lame-o kiss." She had no room to talk. Although, on second viewing, they were sweet kisses, and I have the feeling if they'd had more passionate kisses at that moment, Luke would have drug her inside and done really dirty things to her, and vice versa. But she was trying to be considerate and let him get some rest. So I think that's why she didn't plant one on him. Either that or she's braindead. Did you guys see Scott's arms in the doorway. Hnnngh.

I'll apply for the fanlisting. It normally takes at least a month to get it approved. And then after that you have a month to make it.
