Ok, I almost see,not really, but I’ll give the writers the benefit about killing Alex and how it would affect the rest.... but why not have Kivar behind it? What really was the purpose of dismissing Tess suddenly also? As far as I know I didn’t think Emilie wanted off the show way back then, but I could be wrong.
I know I’m in the wee minority on this, but I wanted to see Antar in the show. At least I’m putting my spin on it starting my story with Tess on Antar. Imagine how frightening it would have been for her to arrive alone and pregnant not knowing what to expect. |

Do you think Tess was thrown into a sort of jail when she first arrived? I like to think the resistance got to her, but I doubt it. __________________

A lot of unanswered questions there too - I imagine that she was kept with Kivar, for appearances, so that he could try & laud her around & show that she was supporting him being the king - when really she was pretty much his prisoner. Then, maybe someone did help her escape...

Oh yea, I can picture Kivar parading her around town or the royal balcony and being like, Look who I have. Look who fully supports me. Meanwhile Tess is next to him, biting her tongue, and Max/Isabel's mom or Larek is plotting how to get her away from Kivar.

I hate what the did with Kivar the most talk about charaacter and al he turned out to be was a love sick frat boy!
If he had killed Alex it would of totally made sense. This was a man who destroyed kingdoms and would do anything to do it. I mean why have the sumit in New York about the granatholic. It was a powerful weapon that Kivar wanted and he did nothing to get it back. It made no sence to me. You can tell the writers really threw everything out the window when it came to storylines. __________________

The Granolith was a mess because the writers never told us everything it could do. It was a travel option and...? I don't know. __________________

true, they never worked out the particulars. It did what the writers needed it to do when stories came up.

We know the Granolith was used for time travel it was also used to travel in current time to other planets.
Maybe thats why Kivar wanted it. It was maybe an easier way to travel and maybe it was a powerful weapon he used to destroy planets like a Death Star. __________________

Supposedly Katims brought writers in for the Sci fi story since he admits Sci fi is not his thing, not sure about these Sci fi writers though.....
Ok, I felt Tess took the granolith back to Antar when she left. Max says to Liz in busted that the other three lost their way home and I don’t remember any chamber scenes in S3 so I assumed it was destroyed at lift off?? So likely Kivar gets it back so maybe it also allowed him to open that dumb portal during Isabel’s honeymoon...( I really disliked that story plot) where he was going to take her back? Oh S3 was a mess..... Then does Tess return with the granolith and Zan? In my mind she does..... Btw...love the pics below Last edited by JournalingJedi; 05-13-2019 at 03:46 AM |

Yeah, these sci-fi writers didn't seem to know much, it didn't feel like they were had a plan
I assumed that the chamber was destroyed at the end of s2, & then when Tess came back I don't think it was ever stated whether she came back in the granolith or just another spaceship, so I guess you could have it either way But if it was the granolith, then Tess could have found it again when she went back into that warehouse & blew it up, maybe she had used it to blow that place up & was safe inside it when it happened? __________________

Great gifs!
Yes the writers in season 2 and 3 really had no idea how to write scifi. __________________
