they called themselves the Rebel Alliance - like in Star Wars.

I did too! I was so upset when they killed off Zan. Emilie was so good as Ava in the two episodes, I wanted more Max and Ava scenes also! Ava had been with Zan so it could have been interesting to see her interact more with Max. Maybe spark more of Max’s memories.

I agree, very tragic love story and that is why I can’t believe all the fan fic out there trying to dismiss Tess as a legit pod squad member, She was Zan’s love sent with him. We see from the flashback Max wanted to stay with her when they emerged. Such a heartbreaking scene.

It is! I remember that was the scene when I just knew Tess was going to be my favorite character. I liked her well enough already, but then we saw that flashback, and I remember I felt so sorry for that tiny little child. And of course, Tess was the tiniest f them so it made sense to me somehow that she needed more time before she emerged from her pod. And poor thing was left behind because of this coincidence and then spent her whole life without any family at all (I don't think Nasedo counts as a family), running from the FBI.

I loved it too, that Max wanted to stay with her. Poor kid looked so conflicted.

I still tear up and cry over the scene when Max said to her "I remember you" and he whips her cheek as she cries.

It gets my everytime all she wanted was to be accepted and remembered.

Tess is a Pod Squad member! I accept it as cannon if other do not! She was in the Pod chamber so she is a member.

I agree the Pod Squade was one.

I think after season 3 when Tess was gone and she "killed herself" Her death still makes me cry always a true loyal soilder to the bitter end defneding her king from danger.

I think the group felt sad and that their was not a balance anymore.

I hope they did, they deserved it. Tess said they all would have felt it if Max was dead in 1x21, so I'm sure they all felt something when she 'died'... although I like to think that she survived

I am even more upset at the writers for what they did to Tess, the last straw was Michael and Isabel voting to turn her over in the end. I don’t think their characters would have voted yes, I think the writers got that wrong. Yes, Isabel thought Tess killed Alex, but I still don’t believe that would get Isabel to a yes. Michael had less of a motivation then any of them to turn her in, I am assuming it was the protecting Max bit, or revenge for Maria, still, not enough for me. How devastating that must have been for Tess and really for the pod squad as a whole. In the end Tess had more humans protecting her then hybrids

I really go with Nasedo as the real evil one and his ultimate plan of disrupting the balance worked. Divide and destroy. He caused the rift between them which weakened all four in the end.

Tess didn’t die ....I still believe that! That is why the remaining pod members never talked about it....they knew she didn’t die....

What the writers did to Nasedo's character - by laying everything on him - pissed me off because I loved Nasedo and his alien personality.
I always felt like the writers were tying to say hybrids/aliens are oh so bad and humans are the ones with empathy, who everyone should worship

I hate how they made the Pod Squade Hybrids. To me they will be %100 alien. I mean what is the point to make them human. It made no sense to me.

Today is May 7th Happy Birthday Tess Harding.

We know when Tess's Birthday is from the episode Tess Lies and Video Tape in season 1 when Michael and Maria break into the the West Roswell High admissions office to get Tess's file. In Tess's file they mention her birthday.

The deal Nesado suppossedly made didn't really make sense either, I mean... what was the point of it? What did he get out of it? Why would the skins then kill him & when they did, surely that meant Tess didn't have to follow through with the terms of the supposed deal! Doesn't add up at all.
