I LOVED this wedding. One of the best weddings on TV.

I am sure Isabel did her hair and Maria found her dress. Maria already saved the day for Isabel's wedding so I could see Maria doing a lot of the last minute details.

Totally I could see the wedding dress belong to Maria's mother and Maria packed it really quick before they left Roswell. Because Liz's dress has a hippie check vibe to it.

However for me I see Maria's prom dress being her mothers wedding dress.

Or Isable and Maria found it in a vintage store in Roswell and grabbed it before they left.

I could see her and Isabel going to a thrift shop and getting the Bridesmaid dresses and the guys suits in a hurry while in a nearby town.

We may celebrate their anniversary or I do on the day the series finale aired, May 14th, 2002. But it could be they married days later. Or even in June (as Graduation dated the episode in June) We know they still had the van and were traveling somewhere where mountains were visable. But so they probably had time to stop and shop on the fly. Make it simple.

Given how everyone else was dressed. Very casual. Very bohemian. Especially Maria LOL. Kyle was more Vegas and I think Michael wore his shirt in Vegas LOL.

I have always loved the wedding vision in Viva Las Vegas dress more because it's more formal. But given how they were, the dress Liz actually wore to her wedding suited them. It definitely gives off a hippie. Or 70's look to them. And makes sense they were doing it simply, and on their own.

Without making waves. Although they thought to stop off in a small church and make it official.

Loved we got to see both the engagement and a piece of their wedding day! Not a lot of shows would have done that...

I am not sure Maria would have had time to find a dress before they left. Given they were rushing to leave. But they probably had enough time to stop and look at a thifty shop!

Yeah I found that so sad about the ending Her parents weren't there and all they had of her was a letter, and they were expected to believe everything in that letter! lol...not only did their very young daughter run away, but left them with a story about aliens. Her dad so sad at the end =

One of the sad parts of it that neither family could be at the wedding. Maybe they exchanged their vows again if they ever got back to Roswell...

And not only the letter he had. But the diary. Which gave so much detail about their daughter's double life. So at least they had that... And given their behaviour, I think while the diary would sound completely insane. But probably would feel truthful. And all they had to do was confirm with the Evans and Valenti.

All of them I am sure banded together with all their kids vanishing. Which is why I would have loved for the finale to be two hours so we could seen the fallout. Only Valenti really knew. The Evans knew the secret by then, but still they were in the dark about so much...

Valenti said he had heard there was a scene at the graduation. So were the FBI forced to explain? So were they all exposed...

Technically Liz was 18 and graduating so one could explain that she ran off with her boyfriend. But the whole group disappeared which would have made it all the more confusing for the town. Including the former sheriff's son!

One of the reasons I love the fanfiction story Chameleon LOL. It does showcase the fallout of the diary!

We figure their anniversary is in June because Graduation was 12 days after the engagement and Liz says to Max she will marry him after Graduation.

May 14 got started being it was the last day Roswell aired but then we saw how in Graduation they make it clear the wedding would have been in June.

Aw I never noticed that before. Wow then that tells me they were in the run and grabbed what ever worked for them.

Yes I agree the wedding dress was more formal for the event. I loved the dress we got it seemed to fit Liz especially being she slightly showed her stomach where Max healed her.


I loved how they stopped by a near by chapel. I love how we saw the engagement and the wedding. What a great treat!

Yes a thrift shop I could totally see them going to.
