I kind of stopped watching when JDM joined so I did not really get to appreciate his character, it was the story that was killing the joy or watching for me. I agree though they need new fresh ideas especially if the groups in Fear the Walking Dead are similar to a group in the Walking Dead. Do they have the same writers for both? I haven't had the opportunity to watch Fear, I have 2 other shows the same night so I will have to catch up on it.

See he's character is the biggest reason I'm done. Him and Darryl. In my opinion they are two of the worst characters

As far as I'm concerned, The Walking Dead died in season three when Glen Mazzara ruined the show with his stupidity. Robert Kirkman had him fired at the end of season 3 and Scott Gimple took over, but the damage was already done. Andrea's character had been ruined by Mazzara and he ended up killing her off, even though Laurie Holden had signed an 8 year contract with the show when Frank Darabont was still running things and Andrea was supposed to end up with Rick like she did in the comics. I stuck around for two more seasons just to see what would happen, but I quit around the time the show ended up at Alexandria and Beth had been killed off.

Andreas character was a long lasting character in the comics.

That's only because Glen Mazzara ruined her character. In the comics it was actually Andrea who held off The Governor's soldiers with her sniper rifle during the assault on the prison. They gave that to Glenn and Maggie in the season 3 finale. Andrea was a popular character in the comics, but then Mazzara took over and he screwed around with the storyline. How do you kill off the female lead and Rick's leading lady in the comics before that storyline even gets started? She was never involved with the Governor in the comics.

They did change a lot from the comics, maybe they should have stuck closer to the original storyline but then they would have less surprises.
