My left leg is getting less and less tender by the minute, but the bandage comes off tonight, so we'll see.

I was in a meeting for 3 hours today and feel very tired tonight.

I guess I haven't been quite as obnoxious as I thought I had been about the tattoos I got last weekend.

Sorry. It's just I've been telling and showing everyone I've run across since then, I think.

Yeah, I got three tattoos last weekend. Two at the ankles (one each) and one on my left hip.

I'm going back Saturday for the last one, on my right hip.

And then I'll be done.

But, yeah, the bandages came off yesterday on the ones from last weekend.

I'm sore, but not injured or in real pain or anything. It's just like a fairly big sunburn, I would imagine.

I had no idea. I thought you were hurt. Three at one time? Are these your first tatoos?

No, these aren't my first tattoos, though they're my first in nearly 15 years.

I wanted to get the five done 15 years ago but ran out of money.

This year is a big one for me, turning 35, so I figured it was now or never.

Anyway, technically, of the three I had done last Sunday, one was a retooling of an existing one. So I went in with two tattoos and came out with four, even though I had three done.

And today I went to get the fifth and final one.

I think I'm done now.

Thank god none of them are that huge, you know?

Sounds good! I'm glad they weren't large...that would hurt more right?

Do you know, I don't even know if them being larger would hurt more.

The only thing I know for sure is that certain parts of the body are more painful to tattoo, places where there's less "meat" between the skin and the bones.

And that the more needles you have at a time, the more it hurts... at least, that's what it feels like to me.



But, yeah, mine aren't very big. The larger ones are about 5 inches in diameter at most.

And, obviously, since I work in a law office, they're all in places that can easily be covered up.
