All the dancers on S9 were incredibly talented and skillful, but I just can't get into it ... I don't know why. Perhaps ballroom is the only genre I like to watch.

Not interested at hip-hop and contemporary.

really? i cant really stand ballroom.

i like hip-hop okay and disco, but they have to be REALLY good.

other than that, contemporary is really the only one i LOVE to watch.

Why? It's elegant, classic, traditional and suitable for older people over 30, even over 40 or 50. Besides, ballroom itself includes various genres, some are with slow, progressive and flowing movement, such as foxtrot, waltz and tango, while others are upbeat, intense and explosive, such as jive, cha-cha-cha and quickstep. On Dancing with the Stars, their costumes are as fancy schmancy as the outfits for disco, glitters making the dancers shine like real stars in the sky. I really love to watch it, especially Argentine Tango.

ballroom is just boring to me, and for someone that has never danced it really i just dont know enough about it to really enjoy it. i know there are different styles but i could not tell you one from the other really. which is bad because i am a dancer.

but yeah, i just hate it. i also hate ballet. :/

im just such a fast dance person. i loveeee jazz. even some contemporary can be a little sleepy for me.

Among the dancers in all the genres, ballerinas are trained in the hardest way, starting their classes since three or four years old. I'm not very fond of ballet either, but as a matter of fact, two ballerinas won S9.

Aside from ballroom, my second favorite genre is Broadway. Looks like our preference is quite different.

I love ballet!

I esp. love when they incorporate like fast movements or hip-hop into it!

I love the fact that two ballet dancers won S9!
