So You Think You Can Dance
Season 7

Changes

This season will not have a top 20, but only a top 10.
The partners will change every single week, and the partners will be previous contestants featured in an All-Stars Dance Pool.
Contestants will no longer choose their dance genre each week, but rather choose a partner, and dance in their specialized style.
Only one dancer will leave the competition each week, not two.
The finale will not feature four contestants this season, but only two or three (the exact number has not been announced yet).

Comfort - Season 4 - Hip Hop and Krump

Lauren - Season 3 - Hip Hop/Jazz/Contemporary

Mark - Season 4 - Jazz/Hip-Hop/Broadway/Cultural

Anya - Season 3 - Standard / Latin Ballrom

Dominic - Season 3 - Breakdance/Hip Hop

And I already forgot Melinda was on this season. I loved her talent, but when the competition started, she was so forgettable.

Shame, I really want a tap dancer to go far in the competition.

Totally agree!! Jeanine has been my favorite through all of the seasons. Not just because of her dancing, but because of her personality. I had her picked as a favorite since the first show.

I loved jeanine. she was my favorite from the get go that season. I loved her personality and I thought she was an amazing dancer. Her solos were breathtaking, some of my favorite female solos to date.

on a side note usa channel played the movie hairspray this weekend and my mom (who has seen the movie before) finally noticed that twitch was in it, 2 years after he was on sytycd

I love looking at movies and tv shows and finding the dancers that were on sytycd in other projects, before or after they were on the show.

i didnt expect alex to win. Like many have said in past threads,i found that the most technical dancer for that season never wins. Alex, hands down, was the best technical dancer. I also didnt want him to win, but I hope he has a fantastic dance career.. he has so much potential

This season is just like the last season of AI, pretty much everyone was terrible so it doesn't even matter who wins IMO.
