Nah the trio was as well. lol Dark Willow came forth because of that trio... more specifically, Warren.

but she was already getting crazy with the magics at the beginning of the season so it was a gradual buildup throughout the season

Tara’s death just pushed her over the edge

I think it was both of them, but Willow was a way better villain than the lame ass trio.

⇾ Scale 1-10 how do you rank this season: It was my least favourite Seaason because it was mostly too dark for my taste so I give it 4 points only. I loved Dark Willow though but Giles leaving and all that unhealthy Buffy/Spike stuff no thanks I pass. And I never liked Warren.

Best, Worst, Weirdest: Musical episodes of TV

⇾ FAV storyline (or episode arc): Willow obsession with magic, it was shocking to see that dark turn but good to see something awesome for Alyson to portray.
⇾ Buffy being in heaven: love the twist or not? Loved it! since when the gang was bringing Buffy back I was confused as to why they assumed she went to a hell dimension... her body was still there lifeless so I didn't get it. Even when they mentioned, Angel.. I was like umm... not the same, his body disappeared and he was a vampire with centuries of rape and killing.

⇾ Willow's magic addiction? Loved it but I did dislike it during 6x06 - 6x10! what she did to Tara and Dawn... a mess.

⇾ Riley Finn closure episode arc:? I loved it! It was great to see him back with the cool scar and new wife. Happy he moved forward.
⇾ LEAST favorite series regular character: I felt the way Buffy treated Spike (before Seeing Red of course) was disgraceful... Xander leaving Anya at the altar and then judge who she sleeps with ... urg.

⇾ LEAST Favorite Ship(s): Buffy/Spike for like the last 5 episodes of the season. Willow/Tara during Willow's magic addiction...

Yeah, I never understood why they all thought Buffy was in a Hell dimension. Buffy was a hero and died one to save everyone, she always saved the world so why would she go to Hell? Then again, I chalk it up to Willow trying to use it as an excuse to convince herself to cast a spell that damaging and consequential. S6 is my least favorite season, but I agree that Willow's magic addiction storyline was the best of the season. I loved it!

re-watching Bargaining rn and god Sarah’s performance in part 2 (deserves all the awards honestly)

Michelle is amazing too though in part 2

especially the scene standing on the tower

Yeah, that was a good scene. I felt so bad for Buffy cause she wanted to jump again thinking she was in Hell.

watching that episode rn and yeah it’s frustrating

I would’ve assumed she went to heaven
