I don't know why the Chris Noth-Courtney Love binomial seems odd...

How nice...

Chris Noth has a sense of humor about the city's little critters. Riding the elevator to the Plaza's Grand Ballroom for Rebecca Kudryavsky's fashion show, the "Sex and the City" actor quipped, "Is this the place with the bed bugs?" Everyone in the packed space roared with laughter except for a maid, who turned beet red.

Chris in NYC, July 2010. You have to agree with him when he says he is no Mr.Big...

I can't really explain the attraction to Bruce Willis but I think it's fair to say that Pierce's and Chris' romantic roles might have been a big help in their success with the ladies.

Chris Noth attends the premiere of Overture Films' "Jack Goes Boating" at Paris Theatre on September 16, 2010 in New York City.

And who's the other guy, who gets to have the honour of having Chris draped all over him?

Thanks Laila! I can't wait to see the movie. One of the very rare movies where most of the Broadway cast stayed on. I guess it helps that Seymour Hoffman directed and starred in it both times.

That's Christopher McDonald He's an incredible character actor you might have seen in 200 movies and tv shows but can't remember because he never twice looks and acts the same He'll always stick in my memory as Thelma's a**hole husband in Thelma and Louise.

I found this nice memory of "The Best Man" (Chris won the Best Broadway Debut award)

A revival of Gore Vidal’s The Best Man opened in 2000 at the Virginia (now the August Wilson Theatre). Set against a fictional Presidential nominating convention, the theatre lobby offered the opportunity for a mock-election voting for Gore or Bush. The cast of this revival included Spalding Gray and Chris Noth as the rivals for the nomination with Michael Learned and Christine Ebersole as their respective wives. Charles Durning, Elizabeth Ashley, Jonathan Hadary and Mark Blum were also in the cast directed by Ethan McSweeny. At the performance which the Scott of S.C.O.T.T. attended, two lamps hanging from the ceiling became entangled and Noth and Ebersole had to stop the performance while the lighting fixtures stopped swinging. To kill time, Noth did a few softshoe steps. Once the lights were stilled, he and Ebersole returned to character and the play continued onward.

Sometimes it's hard to live in my beautiful country....
