I agree with both of you. I don't believe Amy cheated on Colin with Ephram. She fought it for the longest time because of her loyalty to Colin. But...as you said...there was a bond and connection with Ephram and she just couldn't fight it. She did fight this attraction to the very end and remained loyal to Colin until his death. I don't count those few kisses with Ephram as cheating. She never let it go any further.
Amy was very young and at this age the guys that one dates aren't usually for the long term. Girls this age date many guys. Amy and Ephram were the exception. They were to become the high school sweethearts who were destined to be "the one" for each other..the one they would eventually marry. |

I totally agree, you guys. It wasn’t cheating. Ephram was Amy’s savior during this time period. She was clinging to a fantasy with Colin while he was in a coma. What they had was a once childhood crush that faded and turned into this fake attempt at making it a serious reality. After Andy’s first surgery, if Colin would have appeared as the Colin pre-accident we know he would have put a stop to the fake fantasy. He didn’t want the relationship and like you pointed out, Jerry, in that wonderful season 4 flashback scene between Ephram/Amy... Amy clearly stated she wasn’t truly in love with Colin... it was all fantasy.
Imagine if Ephram wouldn’t have entered Amy’s life when he did... she would have been stuck in a pathetic neverending spiral of fantasy clinging to a nothingness. Sounds so morbid but it’s true. Ephram and Amy both saved each other from heartbreak, pain, suffering and loss. They were the light at the end of the tunnel for each other. Last edited by jediwands; 02-02-2018 at 05:33 AM |

I'm currently watching episode 11 of the 1st season. Thanksgiving episode. So I guess I am not that close since I forgot this show has long seasons. I'll keep on chugging along and enjoying the ride.

We know EA and AN and their happy endings were probably influenced by time due to the series ending. We know EA received a beautiful Ferris Wheel scene. Although some might not have appreciated or liked the wording of that scene... if so, how would you have constructed it? Also... AN definitely were rushed and not a lot of fans were happy that it took Jake to basically push Nina to Andy (even though we all knew she loved Andy).
With that said: If you would construct season 4 focusing attention on Ephram/Amy and Andy/Nina romantic pairings specifically, how would you have gone there? If you want to just focus on the last scenes between the two pairings, how would you have written those scenes? |

oooh, a fanfiction I've written in my head, THOUSANDS of times. I can't wait to tackle this.
Ephram and Amy So when Ephram saw Amy at the Ferris Wheel, you could really know that Stephanie was going to be stood up. That was a given. What happens with Amy and Ephram, that's been the question ever since the pilot, what is going to happen with them. I'm thinking that after they realize they're never going to be apart, I think Ephram and Amy would've moved in together. I wouldn't have written them married right away, that would be a bit too soon. But they would move in together, spend time getting to know each other. I don't really think they got to know each other as adults in a relationship. They broke up in Season 3 and we know Ephram went through a HUGE GROWING period in Season 3 with finding out about Madison, his son and a lot of other things. Amy also did a lot of growing up too in Season 4. She realized what was important, where she wanted to go in life. I haven't seen a lot of Season 4 lately, minus the finale, so I might be a bit off on things. But down the road, Ephram would propose, they would get married. Shortly after, Amy and Ephram would have a few babies and have their perfect family. I don't see Amy and Ephram staying in Everwood for the rest of their lives. Ephram deserves to be playing piano in New York or Los Angeles, or maybe even overseas. Amy would want to follow him, that's what she's always wanted, to follow Ephram wherever he goes, see his dreams come true. Nina and Andy Ah, my spirit animal couple. Now after watching Everwood's series finale, I never noticed Treat having gray hair. I thought he had his brown hair through the series and then seeing him in Chesapeake Shores, he looked completely different. [Mind Blown] lol Now... Wasn't there, in Season 5 possibility that Nina would be pregnant with Jake's baby but her and Andy would agree to raise the child as their own, going the soapy route? Since it wasn't announced in the finale that she was pregnant with Jake's baby, I'd say she's pregnant with Andy's baby. I've always wanted Andy to be able to start over. I know he had to start over in the pilot when moving the family to Everwood. But that was with kids, or a kid who already hated and another kid who didn't know what the world had to offer yet. Honestly, Andy having a baby with Nina would, again, have Andy prove to Julia how an amzing father he could be. Andy knows, without a doubt, his kids got screwed over in the father department. That's why he took so much crap from Ephram in the beginning. That kid was a jackass to Andy and Andy never said anything until later on when the mourning period was over. Of course Andy and Nina would get married in Everwood's most lavish wedding it had ever seen. I'd like to think Julia's parents would attend to support Ephram and Delia seeing their father get married, and I'd like to think that they would be there to support Andy too. I'd love for them to see how much Andy really has changed. He's an attentive father, amazing husband...and damn good doctor in a small town. That's all I got for now, It's fairly late and I'm sleepy lol This is a good start though. __________________

Regarding Ephram and Amy...I loved the Ferris wheel scene, and would have loved it to have happened several episodes before the last episode. Yes...we needed to see how Ephram broke the news to Stephanie. Regarding Madison...I would hope Ephram would just ignore her call, but if he had to see her he needed to end it once and for all. I would love to have a scene where Ephram declares his love for Amy to Madison...wish Madison well and just say, "Goodbye...good luck and please don't contact me again." The last few episodes of Everwood should have been Amy and Ephram...Andy and Nina basking in their new togetherness...sharing this with family and friends. One definite exchange I needed to see was Ephram telling Bright off for saying that there was no chance with Amy. Ephram needed to say to Bright, "The Ship has not sailed..I'm done taking romantic advice from you!" |

What do you see Amy doing for a living? Quote:
Yes, according to Berlanti, if season 5 would have happened the biggest reveal would have been Nina pregnant with Jake’s baby. Would have been a nightmare. I love your idea of Andy/Nina pregnant instead and Andy starting over. It would have been such great evolution, showing life basically going around in circles while moving forward and having the opportunity for making up for past mistakes. Love your wedding thoughts too. What gender would you want Andy/Nina’s baby to be? Here’s a bonus question: What would happen to Bright and Bright/Hannah? |

Would have been nice seeing Ephram tell Stephanie as it would’ve given us another opportunity to hear Ephram talk about how much he loved Amy and that they were always meant to be together. If Berlanti was telling the truth, and Madison was coming back regarding the baby... she was going to have the audacity to try and get the baby back, stealing him away from his adopted parents. How do you think that storyline would have gone had it taken place? Do you think Ephram would’ve talked her out of doing something so ridiculous or would she have made the attempt? I still wish Amy could have gotten in a few blunt words to Madison. I remember that season two episode/scene when Madison was condescending to a very depressed Amy at the door wanting to see Ephram. I would have loved Amy having the opportunity to tell that witch off. |

Getting back to what gender I want the baby to be, a son! I think Andy, more than anything, wanted to always have another chance with Ephram. Delia wasn't old enough yet to really know the ramifications of not having a father figure around. She hadn't been through a lot of things she would need her mother for, she would unfortunately find that out later in life in Season 3. I want Andy to form a bond with his son and know he can be a good father. Julia did an amazing job with Ephram and Delia where Andy had a good jumping off point. With a baby, it's a blank canvas. He gets to shape and mold that child into a great human being and Andy is an amazing human being. Nina as a mom!?!? Oh my, imagine that tag team when that child grows up and tries to pass some crap at the front door. Oh, you know that won't fly coach in the Brown house. So yeah, I'd see them having a boy and being amazing parents and I think Andy would still be learning along the way, Nina teaching a little here and there and just being this amazing couple. And come on, Nina Brown!?!? That's almost amazing as Peyton Scott! Quote:
I don't see Hannah and Bright attending the same college. I wou ld write them as doing the whole love letter thing, phone calls, emails. Facebook, when it was invented (I forget Everwood is all before the techno era of social media lol) They would make it work. Coming home for Thanksgiving, Christmases. They would be amazing. Bright is a man with passion and Hannah is his passion. It would also show how much Bright has changed. Yes, we'll never forget the dick move he pulled when sleeping with the bar **** instead of Hannah who actually was considering losing her virginity to him. It still breaks my heart when Bright told her. Her love for him just went from burning love to cold as ice, which is more than understandable. I'm still on the fence if they would wait until getting married to have sex or actually sleep together while on a break from school when coming home to Everwood. I don't think it would devalue Hannah's vows to God, but I do think it would intensify her views as a woman in a relationship. Very powerful stuff, Hannah is a very powerful character. __________________

I also wanted a relationship with no doubts. No doubts about anything. They could completely rely on each other. They could share everything and not worry about either one of them holding. I feel like, maybe because they were teenagers and still figuring themselves out. I feel like they always held back to spare each other's feelings. You know what, love is hurting someone's feelings, they shouldn't be afraid to be honest. Quote:

Hannah, not so sure. I do actually see her going into medicine. I don't know, I just see her stepping into that healing role quite nicely. I think it stems from what her father went through and watching Harold and Andy work their magic. Maybe part of me is thinking about the actor who is a doctor in Grey's anatomy. But I feel like Hannah would be great in that physician role. __________________

I actually would have loved Ephram breaking up with Stephanie before the Ferris Wheel scene. He could have broken up with her the episode before the series finale. Quote:
Another area for Amy would be law. I could totally see her fighting for the rights of people. I think we can agree Amy would never be a stay at home mom without a career even if she’d take off time for their children. She’d need a passionate type of career to keep her busy. Quote:

I could see Hannah in medicine too. We know she was artistic but I don’t see her art as a career, mainly for herself. Medicine or maybe working for her church too. At the very least doing volunteer work for the church. She’d definitely be involved with church functions and activities. It was a big part of her life. |
