Way way better. He should’ve been nominated for something for his work on S3. So powerful. His Everwood character annoyed me.

I don't know if it was the writing that made Scott Wolf's character of Jake so annoying or just Scott Wolf's acting that made Jake so annoying, but either way I really disliked his character.

So agree about S3. He was brilliant. Didn’t like Jake at all.

I understand why you feel this way. Not sure what it was with him on Everwood but he was really good years earlier on Party of Five.

I just watched one of the later episodes of Party of Five on line and Scott Wolf was much better than Bailey than he was as Jake. It was like night and day.

I read that Scott Wolf said that his character of Jake was supposed to be an irritant, and he certainly was. I don't understand why they made his character like that.

One thing that upset me about the series finale was I truly believe Nina would’ve gone with him on the plane. I wish she stopped it and not him.

Oh I know! We've talked about that many, many times here. Nina became a shadow of herself when she was with Jake. She was the complete opposite of the strong and assertive woman that we saw in the earlier seasons. We all hated that she went back to Andy only because Jake told her to go back to Andy, and that she had sold her house and she was ready to go back to California with him until he stopped her literally at the gate of the flight that they were preparing to board.

Yeah I would've been ok with that ending too. If I have ever do a rewatch (although I cringe at the thought of it), I would just finish at that episode!

Was this the same girl they brought back towards the end of the series where Pacey meets her in a bar/restaurant? Can't remember exactly.

No it wasn't. The girl they brought back at the end of Season Four was this girl named Christy Livingston, who was originally played by Ali Larter, who Pacey considered his "dream girl" in the beginning of Season Two, but she was played by a different actress toward the end of the series, and she seemed to feel like she had "lost her touch" when Pacey didn't remember her because he had fawned all over her years before.

Good idea. I just want Jen to live.

Yes, he really is very good on Party of Five.

I wonder if there was some sort of miscommunication on how the character of Jake was meant to be portrayed and it could have affected his performance.
