Nolan/Emily might be my favorite. I think it would suck more if Nolan shoots Emily than Jack for me.

Though one ep behind (but that will change today), I hope it's Jack, because then he can leave the show. Nolan would not be realistic, he knew Em's father, he could never shoot her. Jack on the other hand has really good reasons and anger towards Emily, ít would make sense. Emily needs Nolan, who else would be there? Aiden. Nah, he's so different from Nolan.

As for Jack... he is a significant part of the show because of what he means to Emily. If Jack ever left, Emily's heart would be gone and I couldn't imagine that form of Emily on any level.

Yes, I mean, Nick even said he knows he doesn't have to worry about his character ever biting it because of what Jack means to Emily. Revenge is the theme of this show but the show is about Emily as a whole, too. I think people are really off thinking she doesn't get a happy ending after this is all over. What purpose does this show serve if that little girl who suffered terribly at the hands of horrible shrinks and others doesn't end up happy after she gets her justice? The show would be a complete failure and not make a lick of sense if she heads off to misery-land with Aiden or she dies. What would be the point? She will get her happiness with Jack.

I still say that the person who will shoot Emily is not out to hurt her! She has this all planned. It has to be that way! I can't imagine Jack or Nolan enraged enough to want to shoot and kill Emily!


Jack leaving the show would be HORRIBLE! You're right, Michelle. If that happens, Emily would be broken. Her revenge would mean nothing.

Yes, for sure! I think that both Jack and Nolan will be in on the plan which enrages Aiden and he causes the plan to go screwy. I think Shu could be right that Aiden switches to real bullets. Imagine the audience seeing Nolan or Jack shooting Emily, the audience sees it and it's really happening! But the intent was a fake shooting and it really happened due to Aiden. The audience doesn't see it that way initially though. That would go right in line with the spoiler saying:



Jack would never be able to hold back his feelings for her if something bad happens to her.

Exactly. He's directly tied to Emily. If Jack died or left permanently, a large part of her would die right along with him.
