When are you going officially in October?

Betty, oh you do? I didn't know you guys got the severe thunderstorms in the summer. I thought you guys had very humid summers but when it rained, you didn't get the strong, strong severe thunderstorms. You mean you get the strong winds that can cause trees to fall and stop signs to bend severely? Man, that sucks if you do since you have to also deal with hurricane stuff too during another part of the year!

Yeah. Although, she's the one I go to all my comic conventions with, so I already spend a lot of time with her.

Not sure. I'm thinking toward the middle of the month, since the Sci-Fi expo in Dallas is the 4th.

This weekend and into Monday is going to be in the low 90s and into the low 100s. Weather man says this is the hottest it's been this early in 150 years. Ugh.

Sucks. It was 99 here yesterday, and it's supposed to top 100 today, so I feel your pain.

It feels like april here again. The weather is all over the place. It was 90 earlier in the week and now its raining and in the 70s.

A very humid day is often followed by a pretty bad thunder/lightning storm. Most of them are not severe enough to pull down trees and power lines, but sometimes they are and lots of flash flooding is also part of the package! Of course this is no comparison to what happens during a hurricane!
