That's an excellent way of putting it.

And yes, Brooke only gets worse in season 1 due to this very issue and how she treats Peyton. She drives me crazy and like you, this goes on for a very long while. I can't make excuses for her in season 1 or see her point of view on anything because of how horrible her behavior escalates and gets as this moves along. If she only would have seen the situation for what it was, so much ridiculous drama would have never taken place. Even Nathan for as horrible as he has been in season 1 sees what's going on between Lucas and Peyton. Brooke sees it, deep down she knows, but she uses being in the dark as justification. It works my last nerve... I don't truly start fully liking her until season 4 so I guess I have to put up with this for a while longer.

I just have a hard time hating her knowing she has a good heart at her core....now annoyed with her? That's easy.

There is another certain character on this show that is very easy to hate for me. I have a feeling y'all probably know who it is and feel the same.....

I could never hate Brooke, I just hate her behavior during many moments of the first half of the series and it doesn't allow me to say I truly like her as a whole until later on. It's weird because I ship the Peyton/Brooke friendship the entire series. I think that has way more to do with Hilarie and Sophia. Those two have some of the best chemistry on the screen that I've seen between any romantic or platonic relationship. It's good stuff.

Yeah their friendship is special. It's nice to see two girls stay friends and for the most part get through all the cattiness most high school friendships fall apart because.

Agreed. If you really think about all that goes on between them in those earlier seasons, the very fact that they not only didn't break off the friendship, but became even closer friends is remarkable. Most friendships literally would have crumbled after season 1.

Yep definitely. Btw when did we switch to episode 4? I know y'all switched it at some point but I wasn't sure when. Just don't want to change it to 5 until everyone has had their two days to watch.

I never knew OTH existed until midway through Season 1. I didn't have the WB, only an affiliate through NBC that aired at 2:30am on Thursday Night, so I caught it then. But it wasn't until the season 1 finale that I started watching...great time to watch, huh! I don't think I realized that when I watched the Season 1 finale that it was the finale. So when the repeats came on, I was totally confused about who was who and which character did what. But I caught on quickly

I think LP has the most threads of any thread on I really think half of those threads were made during Seasons 4,5 and 6. We had some major blowouts...er...discussions
