Hey Jerry. I don't think many of us voted for season 4. I didn't even vote yet since I've been so sick with this lingering virus.
Maybe I will vote here and others can too just so we can get more votes? Thanks for this thread, great idea and this is going to be a tough one! |

I'm the first one to vote! Awesome.
I voted....... Home. I think this episode is truly the best of the best. It showcases the best aspects of all the characters, and of all the relationships as well. It's an amazing hour of television. __________________

However since I didn't get to vote for Season 4 and my favorite episodes from Season 4 are not in the list I will choose the Pilot. IMO it was one of the best Pilots I've seen in general. __________________

I think you should open it up again, Jerry...cause both Michelle and Koni want to vote. Perhaps Amont would like to vote?

Okay, the Season Four Poll is reopened, so I'll close this poll down for now until you tell me when I can close the Season Four Poll.

Okay, I've re-opened this poll and I added Getting to Know You into the poll. You have a week to vote. Thanks.
Michelle and Betty, if you need more time than that just let me know. __________________

I voted. I selected Home because it was the one episode that really brought home how much Ephram and Andy's relationship had grown and evolved from the confrontational and mutually resentful relationship that we saw them have in the Pilot, and it was also an episode that was rife with emotion as Colin said goodbye in a very moving way to the people he loved the most. I especially loved it when Ephram told Amy, after hating living in Everwood for so long, that he was home now, and I thought that this episode was a wonderful end to the most incredible and unforgettable season of a television show that I've ever seen.
Come on people, vote and share your thoughts! __________________

Yeah, completely agree Jerry D!
I can and will never get over the beauty of this very simple E/A S1 ending scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HaIK-khyMKM __________________

Oh you guys, I LOVE that scene! Thanks for posting it, Amont! I love that episode from start to finish. I have to agree that this is the best episode of the series.
Weirdly, my vote didn't go to Home though because I also based it on my favorite and best episode of all time... for that, I have to go with Foreverwood: Part 2. I have never loved a series finale more and I know I never will. Everything came together so beautifully, I loved how it was established that Andy/Nina and Ephram/Amy were getting happy endings. That was in play from The Pilot and to see it all transform in that very last episode was the huge pay-off I was waiting for! I struck gold, it was like hitting a million dollars. I also loved how Andy/Ephram got their "happy ending" too. That was the number one aspect of this show and boy was it a ride with hills, valleys, even the pits of hell, lol, but they ended up close and together as a real father and son. It was just beautiful. I loved this scene so much, too: ^ CHILLS, I tell ya! I love when Amy jumps up with a look of joy on her face. She knew what she had to do. Which leads us to this: The music in that scene is enough to make me cry like crazy, it's so beautiful, not to mention the acting between Greg and Emily as Ephram/Amy. I also LOVE how the very end of the series has the camera panning to the entire town, the mountains, that very last shot is so beautiful, it was such a perfect ending to our one of a kind series. PS: The music, the music just kills me! I could watch this over and over again! Also, when you view that last moment as the camera pans upward, looking at the Ferris Wheel, looking at the town, the mountains, the sky, it gives a sort of infinity, spiritual flavor to it... like, this is lasting forever and ever which of course is fitting given the title of the series finale... but the energy is so spiritual and infinite, it's one of a kind. |

I also loved the ending scene in Foreverwood Part 2, and to this day it remains the most wonderfully written and acted scene that I’ve seen. I loved how Amy poured her heart out to Ephram, and I remember having a fear that Ephram would reject her because of the way he kept saying “Amy”, but then when he kissed her and told her that he loved her too and that she was his “one” and that she always had been, I was overcome with joy and emotion, and I have tears in my eyes even now when I’m writing about that wonderful scene. And to think, we never would have gotten that scene if Everwood hadn’t been cancelled, and instead Amy would have been waiting alone with that Ferris Wheel while Ephram went in to talk to Madison. Thank God that didn’t happen, and although I hated the fact that Everwood was cancelled, at least we got the most emotionally satisfying end to a television show ever due to that incredibly stupid and short-sighted decision on the part of The Completely Worthless Network.
