Charlie Todd was that guy from the Band that Jen met at one of her first Frat parties. He was seeing Jen and another girl at the same time. Then he got interested in Joey, she sang with his band a couple of times.

A few years ago I sent a couple of videos to some friends of mine, also some of my fellow authors on fanfiction. None of them had ever watched Dawsons Creek

Both videos were made by the same person, the interesting part is the individual who made the videos is a P/J fan

I asked them to tell me the following

1. Best connection?

2. Most believable as boyfriend and girlfriend?

3. Which couple belonged together?

4. Which couple really cared for each other

I asked seven people these questions and all seven came back Pacey and Andie.

The best answer I got was that the first video the couple was acting like a couple of robotrons.

The second couple; had a beautiful loving romance. And the affection they felt for each other leapt off the screen.

To me, and I will admit I'm prejudiced, It's not even close. Pacey and Andie.

I like the Pandie better than the PJ. Some moments of PJ were good ngl. PJ never resolved anything when they fought, they kept fighting about the same things over and over in circles.

What I would like to see is some kind of survey, that asks people to tell the truth, Is the main reason you liked Pacey/Joey, because they dated in real life for a time during season one and it would be so romantic if they dated on the series?

Or they related to Joey more than the other girls and like many girls were drawn to the bad boy..

To me Pacey and Joey makes no sense.

I know. They are so freaking popular. I don't know about you but I thought their fighting was some of the most vicious I've ever seen in my life. No other two people who love each other fight in circles like they did. And how she makes him better I will never know.

I am watching season 3 and yes they started off well ngl but after Cinderella story, it got so iffy. A lot of dawson talk was already starting, like how are we going to tell him and then the whole are you ever going to love me like a soulmate? They spent an awful lot of time fighting about hurting dawsons feelings. 4.01-4.04 are going to start airing. how many fights about the same things are they going to have already and how is pacey getting better with joey? that's not exactly what I'm viewing. He's regressing so much, I don't like watching it.

I felt like Joey brought out the worst in Pacey. She was too self-involved, worrying about her and Dawson's feelings to care about how Pacey might've felt. I never felt that blow up from Pacey in Promicide was out of character. I felt like that moment had been building up a whole year. The P&J relationship really brought out the worst in Pacey's insecurities and he became mean. He was a much better character the first two seasons pre-Joey.

You are correct. The blow up at promicide was a build up of frustration over the year.

Pacey picked a poor venue to vent his frustrations, but everything he said was correct. Imagine the level of frustration he had to blow up in public like he did.

Also Promicide was meant to be the end of Pacey and Joey forever, till Kevin Williamson tacked on an ending.

Even in season 5, pacey and audrey is better. He is different than he was a year ago. They were funny and fun together. he's two different people with joey than with andie.

It will always be P/A and D/J.

Its clear as day! Their connection with each other and how they where in love.

as someone said in previous post P/J relationship was based on fights and the threat of dawson and trying to be good enough for each other!

To me Pacey always wants to be the hero and all about me! Dawson was the nice one that was always selfless and showed more compassion and love to Joey than anyone else did!

I came across this and i"m sure some of us have read it before. The author of the post absolutely gets it except and the very end where she thinks Pacey should have ended up with Audrey.
