One thing I've noticed while watching episodes for the group watch, is just how much is going on in a single episode.

When I'm watching just for pleasure, I never get that impression ~ but when it comes to taking notes ... wow!!

The opening scene was so passionate. And Brian really meant it when he said he wanted to go away with Justin for the whole week.

Justin is so adorable later in Woody's when he's telling the boys about the gay lodge he's found for their trip. He puts his arm around Brian and says it's the first time they'll have gone away together .. and although Brian pulls a face, for once he doesn't say anything snarky!!!

Justin's being quite unreasonable about the demise of the trip. Sure he should be very disappointed, but Justin should understand that Brian's job is on the line at this point.

He is being unreasonable ~ and I don't really get why someone of his intelligence wouldn't understand what Brian needs to do to keep his job!

I agree that he was unreasonable. He said that Brian was being selfish. In fact…other viewers complain how selfish he was, but he literally would have lost his job. What about that do people NOT understand.

Brian was a grown man with a career. Had he not gone on that trip, a lot of people would have been effected by his job loss.

Justin could have waited for him, or Brian could have joined him after the business trip, but both of them were stubborn.

Justin had no qualms about taking Brian's money for school and this trip to Vermont, but was pissed that he went to keep his job.

I guess that's just Justin being a bratty teenager again... PLUS he's had the disappointment of Brian despising his birthday by now (right? I haven't watched the latter episodes yet... me)

Interesting Deborah that you also posted the Mel/Linz clip ~ and nobody wants to talk about that part of the episode!!!

I know that you have no time for Leda, but I love her!!! And there are times when I wonder what exactly happened between her and Mel that it didn't work out?????
