Beautiful art, Jen! I really like that pic
I would not have liked Buffy if Sarah hadn't played her. Well, I can't know if I would have but there is just something special in the way Sarah plays her. It's just like I hadn't liked BtVS as much if someone else played their characters, like the Willow in the original pilot... __________________

Yeah I agree, I think they definately made a good choice with the cast decisions. The reason I asked is because at Uni the other day, my friends and I ran into an old teacher of mine, and we were all yacking, and we got to talking about Buffy and how originally they didn't want SMG to play her. And that teacher was all "lucky they did, because I highly the doubt the show would have been as successful, she did such a great job". And I was like, hmm, I agree part of the reason I love 'Buffy' so much is because of SMG's portrayl.
But it's true we will never know! And great art Scythe. I lurve those promo pics, she looks so young! __________________

Sarah Michelle Gellar is definately the only actress who could have done Buffy Summers. I read somewhere that it was meant to be Katie Holmes. But ew, that would have been wrong! I mean KH was great as Joey but as Buffy? No way! SMG was just so perfect!!!!! PERFECT! I love her! |

And yeah, lmfao Katie Holmes as Buffy would have been... um, interesting. I don't think I would have been as moved, lmfao, Katie Holmes just isn't as versatile an actress as SMG is. But I agree, she did a good job with Joey. BTW, congrats on 35 posts. Wheeee! *snaps for you* __________________

 Katie as Buffy would have been freaking hilarious and I don't think the show would have lasted. I loved her as Joey though but I can't see her as a Slayer...__________________

I know, lmfao like in season five, she beat up muggers and stuff, but lmfao she just didn't have that kick ass expression down. I laughed my ass off when she did those, 'I laughingly use the term' "fight scenes". Sarah may be small, but her kick ass faces just rock!

I really love Sarah, she is def. my fave actress and I just love Buffy even more when she plays her. It's just special...Some people can play a char so great and others can't.
