I loved the series finale . The whole series finale was like a 80's montage. I love the 80's feel of the episode. I felt the Joannie storyline should have been left out. I was a little disappointed 😞 about Cole. He wasn't like that,and would never had trash Alison to her child.

I hate how shows do this, retcon characters previous actions so that they can push their agenda through. You can't have Noah impart his wisdom to Joanie that's going to supposedly change her life, if she thought differently of her mother. That's the message that Sarah wanted to have, his last homage to Alison. He did wrong to Alison all those years before, so he rights that by telling Joanie what he should of told Alison. That wouldn't have worked if Cole had told her the truth. That's not what Cole did in season 3 and fought for Alison and her daughter with Luisa, so we retcon Cole for season 5 to suit the narrative. Really disappointed in that, and also the fact that Sarah murdered Alison.

Agreed, I don't know if that line was just a shot at Josh or something, but Cole loved Alison too much to call her crazy to Joanie. I think due to her own traumas (and a some Luisa influence), Joanie had a bad perception of Alison.

They all seem to die incredibly young. Most people I know are hale and hearty well into their eighties! Maybe because the showrunner and her crew are young they think 70 plus is ancient.
